So, has anyone figured out any other giant monsters besides Toho's Godzilla that could take on Cloverfield?

I've never heard of that monster before but he looks kind of tough.

So, now, in my mind the only giant monsters that could stand a chance against Clover would be Toho's Godzilla & King Kong, & Unicron. They are the only ones I can think of.

Btw, what do you guys want to see in the sequel? I'd like to see a few of the parasites grown up a bit because they really caught my attention & I got excited every time I saw those little buggers. Hopefully we'll get to see a lot more of them because they were badass & they delivered a hurtin' to the military as did MGP.

One last thought: How do you guys think either the Queen Alien or PredAlien would fare against Clover?

No word on when it'll hit Blu-ray, but be assured it will eventually, as Paramount has just announced that it's supporting Blu-ray again (which is logical since, sadly, HD DVD is dead).

Saw it yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. Hardly an original idea, a monster attacking a city. But, the way it was done was great.

Plus, I like how the origin of the monster remained a mystery. The unknown is scary.

Surely you underestimate the Predator who can become invisible & has advanced weaponry. For all we know its weapons may actually be able to harm Clover but as of now we can't truly be sure of it. As for the Xenomorphs, they probably wouldn't last long at all because they act as if they are mindless beasts & to my knowledge they haven't displayed being intelligent creatures.

In Alien Ressurection they kill one of their own to use it's acid blood to burn through glass, so that shows a fair bit of intelligence...

If im not mistaken the question was how would it fair against the Predalien and the Alien Queen...neither of these have advanced weaponry or can go invisible. If someone had asked about the Predator my answer wouldve been different.

Oh yeah, they'd all be like ants to a t-rex. The Queen Alien or Predator isn't a fair match in any way. Hundreds of each would just get squashed by Clovie.
