Because there's no such thing as a fake "Cloverfield monster." That's the dumbest idea I've heard yet. That's why no one paid attention to it, it doesn't make any sense.

Stay off the crack, mate.

You can't judge a book by it's cover.
Now until you read it, your opinion means nothing.

Stop arguing and discuss the movie.

Jon, he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, plain and simple.
Totally agree with you, I still don't know what he's talkin' about with this 'Godzilla Theory' either.
Yeah you have to read the theory before criticizing it. I posted it a while back but you called it "spam"

I'm referring to the Godzilla Theory.
Wasn't that put to rest after you know... the film was released?

We mine as well just ignore him since he's not making any type of sense.

So, as far as you know, are we still getting the Cloverfield video game?

Yeah, playing as the parasites or the monster would be a new experience. Btw, who's developing this game anyway?

Two-Face wrote: Alot of the stuff we went through didn't make sense. The 1st movie wasn't a movie, but more of a preview for the real one. Like making a movie with Gigan(The phony) as the monster, then introduce Godzilla(The main monster) in the next one to destoy Gigan.

Two-Face wrote: But think about it, in Cloverfield the monster was basically an after thought, as it was only on screen for about 5 minutes, the film revolved around characters, now if America's Monster Movie is character oriented but not on the monster, how is that America's monster. I'd say if a monster came to fight the phony, who destroyed America's symbol of freedom, and won, that would make him America's monster.

Basically this movie was to set up the villian so the hero could get more glory...from America.

I think that this really is a valid point. I really does make sense to me. Would explain why the monster didn't get much camera time; we're expected to hate this monster for what it did to NYC. Like Godzilla was an allegory for its time, this here monster could be a theatrical allegory of Bin Laden. No, no, wait, it could be. A second monster in the sequel to get America's revenge, to become America's monster. Recall, the classic Godzilla movies had Godzilla versus another monster. If Abrams is trying to revive the GM genre of movie, one would think that there would have to be some sort of versus battle to take place to put America's monster on top. Defeating this MGP from Cloverfield could do just that.

I think it's fans of the film who have the software to make these kinds of developments, as in I don't think it's being made by a known video-game company, if at all. But, yet again, I think that it looks pretty damn cool. At least it's not a Godzilla game:oldrazz:

Ignorant? Social life? What the hell is wrong with you? I'm still not going to read it, no matter what you do, you can't force me or anyone else to read a damn thing. Your theory sucks, you aren't very smart, end of discussion.

My theory sucks because you're too ignorant to read?
Real good reasoning, pal.

I meant the actual game. Last I heard we were supposed to be getting a game actually based on Cloverfield that is from a professional company that would be for the systems such as the PS3 and 360.

So, how do you think Clover at his current stage would fare against Superman?

Nah, it sucks because you think it has something to do with Godzilla, which it clearly doesn't. It doesn't matter now though as I'm officially done replying to your posts.

Your theory is so out there. I don't buy it at all. And yes, I actually read it.

If you would have read it has nothing to do with the monster being Godzilla.

The third part of the Cloverfield manga is out. There is a full shot of the monster too.
