Cloverfield

I like Cloverfield, but Kong is one of my favorite films of all time; I wouldn't put it anywhere near that level. Godzilla 2000 isn't much of a comparison to either of them.

Loved Cloverfield, but it wasnt as good as Peter Jacksons King Kong.

FINALLY saw this for the first time today and thought it was EXCELLENT, a movie that finally lives up to its hype, a really good watch and one i'm sorry i missed at the cinema, but glad i now own on DVD.

Just because you dislike it does not make it overrated. It just means you dislike a great film. I hated Batman (1989) with a passion while most people seem to love it. Does that make it overrated? No, it just means I don't like what must be a good film.

If you have a big enough TV it's pretty darn good. I watched it on a 36 inch and it looked great.

Again, agreed on both accounts, watched Cloverfield again the other day, it definately stands up to repeat viewings also, but still no were near as good Kong.
