Why is his weapon of choice a giant green pushpop?

It's just the ****ing mask that make CC looks ugly (mostly the toy's version). But hey, it's not that bad as his other costume.

Ehh, this doesn't bother me too much. As long as evolves into the Commander we know at some point and his face stays covered up.

What the hell? I love, love Joseph Gordon-Levitt but I doubt even he can make this crap look cool.

Hopefully this a loose translation of what the film version looks like, but then again, look at what happened to Deadpool.:csad:

Wait...so his mask supposed to be clear?

At least it's an improvement from the Dr. Satan one.

Doesn't this give away the whole "the Doctor" is actually "Cobra Commander" twist from the movie?

Horrible. Why couldn't they just put the freaking mask over it? Why is that too much to ask?

Yeah, but that's not exactly a greatly kept secret.

Holy awesome! He does look cool! Actually better than I thought.

i'm not a fan of gi joe/action force and even i can see that is a stupid design choice.

i can see they're thinking behind it but they really went the wrong route with it

Now that I've seen this, I just want to hear his voice for some reason. A really good and/or creepy CC voice might sell it to me better.

lol Between this and Deadpool, it's like Hollywood wants geeks to hate them.

I don't like the tubes on the figure. I hope the character in the movie does not have them. If this gut changes his uniform at some point and gets the blue helmet to go over his skull it might just work.

I agree that the tubes look friggin' ******ED on the figure ...and how come the pink is so prevelant on the face?!? I mean, to be honest although I am supremely disappointed that this Cobra Commander doesn't mirror even slightly the one that was from my childhood and the one I love the most (silver face plate battle mask and helment) he does infact look really.....dont hit me.....awesome....:::ducks in fear:::....but the hoses and the fact his detail is severely lacking in the chest armor and his overly pink face is pissing me off :cmad:

I mean if the toys do well hopefully they'll come out with a more screen accurate Cobra Commander figure (..or any of the G.I. Joe movie figures for that matter) that's what usually happens (i.e. Star Wars the better versions come out muuuuch later which blows..but at least they come out)

i don't think it's so bad. i mean, if it was ok to change his look in the cartoon then it should be ok for the movie...but i would still love to see face plated cc in the sequel. i just wish he had the cobra insignia somewhere on him. and the mask could be more snake-like and less skeletor-ish?

now i'm no gi joe fanatic
but THIS is not the cobra commander i know

kinda looks like upgraded jason from jason x

Why not just give him the cowl and regular mask,is that so hard??.I saw people at Comic-Con with some amazing Cobra Commander masks.

this was my point. granted neither of those looks were popular, but his look has changed prior to the movie on different occasions. and again there's still hope that we may get a fully formed cobra commander (the one we know and love) in a sequel. or at least something that's more easily read as cc by those familiar with the 80's version.
