Looks good. Was wondering how they would handle him but every looks like it's going to be great.

I think it looks AMAZING! I can see how they are going for a more alien theme though. However I still can't wait for this movie!

After watching the trailer a number of times late last night there are only two things that bug me in the trailer. I don't like the cliche and cheesy scream he does after he tries to lift the hammer and that line, "Oh no, is this Earth?"

Other than those two things I loved the rest of it.

Is it me or do the colors on the Rainbow Bridge move along it?

Ya that "Oh no this is Earth" line was awful. :hehe:

I liked that line... then again I also like the "mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it" line from BR, and some guy has that as his sig around here so who knows... that guy doesn't seem to understand what is being said in that scene and based on that sig has the emotional maturity and interpersonal skills of an 11 year old but what yea gonna do. Agree to disagree.

Footage looks godadamn brilliant though.

"oh no this is Earth" is okay, if I were from a world of wonders like Asgard I´d think the same thing.

The best thing about the leak is that once is on the net its gone forever, you never get it back. Its like a hydra, cut off one head, two grow in its place. So what Marvel have to do is either release it in glorious quicktime HD sooner than planned or release something that will make the internet forget the trailer until the official one is released.
*bring bring*
Hello internets? This is Marvel, how bout a leak of that costume test footage of Cap? *holds reciever* I know the suit looks different now but they don't know that. Look give em this and we'll blitz em with the trailer and proper images in a month and a half.*lifts hand* I'm sorry Internets I can't understand you over the drooling.

Agreed, the scream was a little silly, especially with the funky voice filter they put on it. Also not a fan of the lion's roar they play while Thor is shoving nurses and doctors away in the hospital.

But I liked the "this is Earth!" line. He's immediately disgusted as soon as he realizes it, which is exactly how a fallen god would regard being stuck on Earth.

The rainbow bridge does look like it's got colors shifting along it all the time. Kind of reminds me of the nulls on ReBoot. :D

It's not the comment, it's how it was delivered.

I didn´t have a problem with that either. Sure his accent is kinda thick, but if you´re gonna be rigid about it he shouldn´t even be speaking English for starters.

Awesome. Glad to see it they officially put it online! Marvel is doing the right thing and it's a great idea.

Now WB should do it with Green Lantern. I hope the Cap trailer coems online.

check again, the trailer so far is not officially released, that's why I removed all links and pics

After seeing the trailer a few times, my only grip is it feels at times like it´s trying too hard to be "fancy", like, overusing "cool" angles, camera pans and slow-mo, which is not an uncommon aspect of Brnagh´s filmmaking. Of course it could be just the fact that these are intentionally selected crucial moments of the storyline and the overall movie may be not as "in your face".

again forcing the Avengers guy from IM2?i mean isnt it enough already?

trailer is decent. of course a lot of effects are still missing that will be finished end of this yer for the official trailer.

about the final fight. i wonde something. will it be inside or outside? because a fight between loki and thor inside could be a problem. i mean not for Marvel. they are cheap. but outside it would be bigger and more epic. if its inside its because marvel doesnt want to spend money.

Marvel really wants to do this set up Avengers kinda thing, so I guess we have to deal with it.

The movie has a pretty respectable budget. Iron Man and Iron Man 2 certainly didn't look cheap to me, and they're pushing Thor just as hard as they did those movies, so I'm sure they spent a decent amount. If the final fight is inside, I imagine it'll be in the throne room, which is appropriate.

I also have no problem with Coulson being a part of this movie. Marvel Studios' movies are connected, just like the comics share a universe and characters. Get over it.

Coulson looks like an integral part of the story, hardly shoehorned in.

Going by the footage, looks like SHIELD is more naturally integrated as part of the story instead of feeling forced in like IM2.

i am also afraid that Hopkins next to Hemsworth could be a problem. in the trailer you can see that Hopkins is one of the best actors on this planet. maybe it will make Hemsworth look bad compared to him?

I have no problem with Coulson and SHIELD. By circumstances and how Marvel is set up cinematically, it makes sense SHIELD would be on this stuff. Doesn't feel forced at all. They're doing a good job at that. And **** what people say about Fury appearing in IM2. I mean at first people were excited to see him there, now they complain about him being there. He had only three scenes, and they all made sense. Tony was still apart of it.

Of course it's possible. It's also possible Hemsworth could surprise a lot of people and prove he's an actor worth paying attention to. It's all conjecture at this point
