Comic Con Trailer Description

i forgot to add a smile. i was just joking. :)

who even liked IM2?

From my feelings at the moment, I liked it even more than IM1. The Stark/Potts banter reminded me of another of my favorite movies, His Girl Friday (it's actually the movie credited with inventing the overlapping dialog style).

Both villains were better than IM1 and Scarlett Jo was not only hot but had one of the best female action scenes I've ever seen.

The only thing I would have changed is the Rhodey plot line. That whole thing feels forced to me.

I'm not 100% certain that it is possible to dislike a movie in which RDJ plays the lead to be honest.

Back to the Thor trailer: Just checked out a thread devoted to it on a forum for an online game called City of Heroes and they all seemed to like it a lot. Bunch of comics loving folks play that game. Really the only people that seem to hate it are the posters at Rotten Tomatoes. They seem to operate under the flawed assumption that there is only one way to make a super hero movie though (like The Dark Knight).

i personally loved what i saw, and that is a very rough cut of a soon to be trailer, there is certainly room to improve, sound fx and special effects to add and a score. Branagh knows drama, we'll have to see how he handles action, suspense and fx as well.

I loved Iron Man 2 and furthermore I plan on buying the 2-disc dvd and watching it about 1,645,637,828,625,423,584,525,345,215,521 times. And that's a lot of times.

hoping its on the dvd version, but not really worried, it'll be on youtube ethier way :)

....calculate that into hours....

If my calculation is correct, that would be basically 1342727372421218931761250000000 hours.

The movie clocks in at 126 minutes,I was off by 1 minute.

So, what you're saying is that Rotten Tomatoes' forums are populated entirely by Warner Bros. executives? ;)

I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks Superman would be improved by making him more like Batman needs to be either fired or smacked or both. :o

I don't know Corpy, When I DID collect anything with Supes in it, it was Brave and Bold.
Supes on his own bores me unless it's Smallville

lol He does! Though I haven't read it since the 80's.

and in that order too...Superman should be the easiest hero to do. If I was in charge I would do Death of Superman...next movie would be World with out a Friend/Reign of the Supermen and the last one would be the Return of Superman

Smallville is like getting manually pleasured by a hot girl but never being allowed to finish...
"Look Clark's flying...no he just jumped real high"

I'd adapt Joe Kelly's story, "What's so Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?" Just put your best foot forward and show people exactly why Superman is the greatest superhero of all time.

Yeah I'm getting sick of it. My fave show was the Justice Society

That's exactly what I've often thought about and how I would do it if I were in charge. Though I'd probably do it in 2 movies. The first movie would end with a cliffhanger introducing the different Supermen.

we are of the same mind

The best things come to those who wait. With that said, I have really high hopes for season 10. I loved the last season w/ all the checkmate references and what not.

We're not only going to get flight this season, but TW is expected to finally wear the suit by the end of the year. Rosenbaum might even make a surprise guest appearance! No Batman though. ::SIGH::

stopped watching like in 04 or 05 can't remember. he was such a *****. they are showing it again on hdnet, 3 eps a day mon-fridey, trying to watch. still really crappy though.

hahahahahahaha
sounds like what they said at the begining of season 7,8 and 9

Agreed. When you're DC comics and you only have three great heroes (Green Lantern being the third) you have the mantain the integrity of each.

Well, I wouldn't say DC only has three great heroes, but anytime you have two things as different as Superman and Batman, it's a disservice to both to try and homogenize them. Celebrate their differences. Not every superhero has to be grimdark. They tried that about 20 years ago in the comics and it ultimately blew up in their faces. :o
