Marvelous Bob rocked. I just found out the writer comitted suicide the day after he completed the story.rigel7soldiers said:And, of course, I remember shooting myself. It's not really something you forget. I pulled the trigger. I heard thunder and was struck by lightning ...It was loud, and bright. It's very bright if you're close. And I was close.

Superman: "And when you do... i'll still be here. Then ill burn off your ozone...and tear away your atmosphere. I will vaporize your oceans... and I will break you apart with my bare hands and scatter you...and you wont BE anymore. Then reluctanatly ill find a new home as a FOREIGNER."
-Superman: For Tomorrow
Am I the only one that absolutly loved this book with all my heart?? This quote pretty much has Superman declaring himself as a god. I thought it was just to damn cool.

supes_el said:No you are not alone. I absolutely adore this book. A very good read with great discussion between Superman and a priest that makes for a lot of thought provoking questions. I was hoping DC would release it as a Graphic Novel but instead they did 2 - 6 issue books. I will be picking up both when they come out as only volume 1 is out I beleive.
I will also recommend Superman: Secret Identity to you. Another wondeful book.

President Callahan: No, General. Not yet. First I have to cut him off at the throat. I've already spoken to the board of directors at "The Word." Yes, General, I AM *********ing into the American flag again. It relaxes me. Do you have a problem with it. Would you rather I used YOU?

Bruce?
Bruce, I know you're down here.
You can't hide from me.
I bow to your superior wisdom.
After all..... you know all about hiding... don't you, Clark?
Don't call me Clark
What happened to the manor?
Once my identity got exposed? Bane and Two-Face happened to it. Doesn't matter. I have everything I need down here.
Besides, it's not as if anyone intrudes on me. That hardly ever happens...
...Clark.
There's a lot more, but yeah, friggin' awesome. Mark Waid is awesome.
Oh, and at the end, in the diner:
Steak. Well-done.
Which? There's the Man of Beef, there's the --
Steak. Well-done.
