For me the only major changes are between seasons 1&2, starting midway through 1.

Oh and I totally just now got that Owen Wilson and Jack Black appearing in the episode after the first Christmas ep was a little reunion from the Heat Vision and Jack pilot.

For me Troy's transformation isn't as weird as Britta and Pierce. I think Troy's inner weirdo was always overshadowed by his football player persona but after hanging out with Abed he openly became a dork, especially after the Halloween episode. But throughout season 3 he started going back to "normal".

As for Britta and Pierce, they definitely had a bigger transformation. Especially Britta lol.

I love what they've done with Britta. She wasn't a bad character before but turning her into this uncomfortable goof is so much more interesting and subversive than the hot blond (not that she was ever just that).

I agree. I think they realized that voice of reason Britta wasn't that funny because she was too "perfect", so then they made her negative traits much more exaggerated and now she's kind of a glorious trainwreck and the punching bag of the show.

Troy's transformation stands out for me the most, they sure dropped the Jock aspect of his character very quickly.

Joe from Scrubs should have came back as that special agent that liked Abed. I love that girl plus they were awesome together

I like the changes they made to all the characters. It's natural that the longer we know a person, the more we know about them, and the closer we get, the more they reveal. The more they reveal, the more we see them for who they are.

You guys talked about Troy and Britta's development. What about Jeff? Jeff was seen as this cool, confident guy in the beginning when they met him. As they got to know him and became friends, they started seeing him as "the leader" less and more as one of their friends. In addition, we saw what they saw in Jeff, a man who has insecuries brought on by his Narcissm brought on by his father's abandoning. In addition, they saw that despite the lying and conning, he's a well intentioned guy.

Wonder whatever happened to Duncan? Guess when they bumped Jim Rash up to regular they couldn't bring Oliver back. He was funny on here.

Duncan appearances were always fairly sporadic. I don't think he was in season 3 at all, though.
