Wait, Community did an episode about Jeff being homeless and Britta compared him to Phil Spector just like Busy Phillips was just saying in that Cougar Town clip. WEIRD

Wait!! That WAS ABED!!! OMG! He **** himself!!!!! So he really wasn't lying to Jeff!!!!! HAHAHA OMFG!!! That is BRILLIANT!!!!

:awesome: at Abed on Cougar Town. There was also a connection to the Scrubs universe on Cougar Town.

And they've watched the Community season one DVD on Cougar Town.

Its the Mad About You/Seinfeld paradox all over again. Kramer appeared on Mad About You, George and Susan watched Mad About You, Jerry Seinfeld appeared as the star of Seinfeld on Mad About You.

I'm sure Cougar Town/Community will take it to a whole new, though Cougar Town is being held until midseason.
Then there is referencing Lost on Community and having one of the stars of Lost on Community.

Mad About You and Friends was in the same universe...

I'd like to see them pull off a nice crossover event like they used to do with the shows on TGIF like Family Matters and Full House and Step by Step all did but go even further and make it like a big thing and do it with something on the same network like 30 rock or Parks and Rec

This stuff with Cougar Town is just brilliant though, they HAVE TO mention in the premiere Jeff accidentally catching the episode and seeing Abed and like just looking at him funny and saying something like "Woah, you weren't lying about being on Cougar Town were you? Looked like you had to hurry up and get someplace pretty quick though" lol

I don't remember Step by Step crossing over with any of the other shows. I do remember Urkel on Full House.

Urkel was on Step by Step and Dana from Step by Step was on Boy meets World. Shoot me now...

And of course Family Matters was a spinoff of Perfect Strangers, completing the cosmic quartet of horrible shows.

You shut your mouth when you talk about Boy Meets World! :cmad:

It's too bad the crisis on infinite earths didn't erase that one, that's all I'm sayin'.

WHOA! Okay Joey you're clearly in a bad space today but this is TGIF you're talking about and Boy Meets World had 7 AMAZING seasons, did you?! :cmad:

Oh yeah, and Urkel also appeared on Full House once. So all those five shows shared the same universe. Where's the Anti-Monitor when you need him? :(

Didn't the cat from Sabrina time travel and cameoed on all the TGIF shows at the time?

You can get your Community fix here!

The cameo was awesome. But that had to be the most obnoxious product placement I've ever seen. At first glance, I actually thought it was a Subway commercial.

Chuck has some equally as bad product placement. Subway too.

It was so blatant that I thought it was done jokingly. I actually hope it was.

I've seen worse on BOnes and Hawaii Five 0

I love Five 0 but...ech

People need to get over the product placement thing. It almost annoys me that people are so annoyed by it.

There's only been one instance of genuinely awful product placement, as far as I'm concerned. 7th Heaven a few years ago... don't ask, I really have no good reason to have been watching... the entire episode was the characters having full-length conversations about how they like to eat their oreos.

I dont mind product placement often. I understand why it's done and I get why they do closeups of a cellphone or have every car on a show be from one maker. But as I said, the Hawaii Five 0 one was obnoxious and there have been a few times in other things where it's been obnoxious

I thought the product placement was a joke. Like the ones they did for Snapple on 30 Rock.
