The Dark Knight Concerns about TDK

that's true. scissorhands is a good one too.

so you think they will sell joker stuff at hot topic? i mean, i am not a fan of hot topic at all. it's like the pseudo-goth/pop punk/emo/i think i'm cool because my shirts have 80s references shirts-store. sure, a couple of the shirts are cool. but if you buy one, there are destined to be a hundred nerds in your area with the same shirt. and then it seems like you're a poseur like they are.

hot topic will sell Batman apparel. I guarantee it, I hate it when something I really like becomes the flavor of the month for kids.

i bought a batman shirt from hot topic a little over a year ago. they're one of the only places i can buy shirts that fit me (fast metabolism)

PS i only wore the shirt once and i'm considering putting it on eBay

you and me both, brother. you and me both. but it's bound to happen. and it always happens. even down to my love for kittens. 5 years ago, people would say i'm gay because i love cute kittens. now every *****ebag on youtube has a kitten video or a kitten caption picture on their myspace. since when did liking adorable kittens become such a fad? ridiculous...

i think i got a couple shirts there before. i only went in there like 3 times before i just decided i can buy the same shirts online without having to have people see me in that store.

Ya, luckily those kids have an attention span of a fly and go to something new

i'll catch some flack for this, but batman is the only dc franchise worth saving anyway.

Considering there's nothing already out there to save, I agree. Superman Returns I liked, exactly because it didn't feel like Superman (god I hate him) and so, I'll give the sequel a chance. But, yeah, Batman=quality most of the times.

Ya, thats kind of true, as much as I love DC supes and Batman are their homerun hitters. But the superman franchise has gone down the drain ugh spacey

i thought SR was garbage. well the superman scenes were pretty good. i liked him flying in the city and saving the plane. i thought it was cool. but other than that...the kid, the kryptonite island that didn't affect him, it was all pretty bad. and you gotta be a bad actor if you can't pull off clark kent.

Well let's see how Superman: Doomsday does before we sign the death certificate ok. Maybe Superman is better off in animated features and that's that. :)

Anyway, Batman, Batman, concerns about TDK... um, I am hoping the humor will improve. I mean I generally liked the humor in BB, but there were some seriously misplaced moments. Here's to more appropriate one-liners (and better, too).

I liked the humor in BB. I was surprised many people were repulsed by it.

Funny you should mention that, I always thought Superman was better off in TV than in cinema (I love Smallville, S:TAS and liked the first 2 seasons of Lois and Clark, plus Superboy was gold).

Off topic (yet again): Your nick is the Noghrri (sp?) way of calling Leia, right?

No, I want to marry Darth Vader when I grow up. :p

Yes. That's right. And I think it's Noghri.

Well, the "I gotta get me one of those" was very 80s... in a bad way. "Nice coat" was a bit more bearable and "Nice ride" was garbagge. All of the above IMO, of course. Other than that, I liked the humor, but the moments were the 3 above were used, well, they were totally out of place.

i thought some of the one-liners were pretty decent. even if they were cheesy. like "does it come in black?" the movie-snob in me said, that's a bad line, but the kid in me just smiled, because it was so cool.

and i liked the stuff at the hotel. i thought it was all pretty good.

I mean it was kind of cheesy but I kind of expected it. oh well

Heh, can't say I'd blame you if that was true.

It wouldn't be the first time a woman has a relationship with a mechanical device. :)

And the 4th season of Boston Legal is starting this year. It certainly has its moments, although sometimes it really feels like a guy's Ally McBeal.
