Ya know, this is really startin' to get to me. I post on a board where a select few group of *******s has managed to **** all over my rep to th' point where every post I make gets scrutinized and flipped to mean somethin' I wasn't even thinkin'. I mean, people I've never had an altercation with EVER are suddenly callin' me an ******* or pompous or a whiny ****.

Recently, there was a thread about Clerks 2. Someone made a comment which gave me an opener to say I didn't like Clerks 1, then after bein' told I was a moron I added that I did like Jay & SB an' Dogma...but that didn't matter. Not likin' that one movie meant I hated th' whole franchise. That same prick who started on me there also said all my posts he hears with an Adam West shoutin'-match voice now. But, he still respects me! (sarcasm)

Last two days, this guy comes on sayin' he's gonna do a flash cartoon. Since a group of guys on th' board are already doin' a flash series, people started to compare him to them an' crappin' on his idea, sayin' he should just join up with th' other guys. So I step in to point out th' flaws in their logic sayin' there's room fer similar things an' that they could consider it a summer replacement while th' other group is on hiatus with animator issues, or "art issues" as I called it. So I get th' producer of said show (who happens to be my editor on my stories) correctin' a couple minor goofs I made. I said that didn't matter, just th' intended message of my posts. That set him off to where he accused me of *****-slappin' HIS team as if they were bashin' th' guy. Yeah, I made mistakes, but in NO WAY did I insult his team. An' then he accuses me of not ownin' up to th' goofs an' always gotta be perfect. How stupid do you have to be to not realize by publically pointin' out th' flaws in somethin' that th' message would've gotten lost in th' shuffle? I mean, really...are PMs so hard? Plus, th' guy is on MY TEAM. Why th' hell would I insult him?!

It's really disheartenin' to know how quickly people will believe th' worst about you an' will support people whose soul purpose in life is belittlin' others fer their own amusement.

You know, Wolverine. The one thing I've noticed is that there are just certain people on The Hype who instantly take a dislike to certain things. You probably get it more than most people. For example, when you type the way you like in your Wolverine style, some people don't focus on what you're saying, but how you're saying it. It's not a big deal, but people seem to want to make it one.

Also, much of the time, I will type something out, read over it, then realize that what I'm typing might be taken too negative. I'm constantly retyping my remarks...or just deleting them entirely. I know a couple times I have said what I wanted to, but most of the time I consider what others will think. (Heck, sometimes I'll just vent to JH, and that helps.) My opinion (if you don't mind) is that sometimes I find you very justified...but, other times your words might seem harsher than you mean them to be or people don't understand that it's just your style of typing or talking. Here, though, I don't think we have a problem...so, that's cool.

Well, I just updated the results, mainly because we have a tie in all four brackets right now. Mimic vs. Cable, Guardian vs. Abyss, Warlock-New Mutants vs. Vargas, and Xavier vs. Thanos. If we have another tie with Guardian vs. Abyss, that will have to quickly go to Sparta's thread.

Argh! If there is another tie between Guardian and Abyss i'm just going to sacrifice Guardian...I have no time to write a big long debate...I didn't even have time to debate a single match-up this week!

Yeah. If you have fought in Week 2 of Round 3, then you are going to fight again in Week 3 of Round 3. That also means that you can argue that your character will now understand the other character better. The same strategy shouldn't be able to work or your opponent is going to be more aware of that strategy. i.e. If JH and I had tied in our match of High Evolutionary vs. Nico, he wouldn't be able to use the spells he mentioned the first time. And, yes, you go into the new location.

You know JB, I never thought about that myself, but PHaed's right. It'd be a second match between the two, thus they would have the experience of the first. Interesting.

And to Sparta, if Abyss and Guardian tie again, you have my permission to just throw it in your thread without either of us doing a write up, let the other people debate if they want.

And to Wolverine,.... that sucks man. I've been in that boat many o'times in religious debates and it sure doesn't feel great. Just know that we like you here and will continually speak with you with respect. If anyone does otherwise I'll put a stop to it as I always have I'm a big fan of respect.

My spidey days continued until a little unknown cartoon called X-Men: The Animated Series came about. It drew my curiosity and so I decided to betray my Spidey roots and gave the X-titles a shot. I went to a comic shop near my grandmothers and bought:

And from that day forward I was a devoted X-****e. I was a Spidey-****e too, until they started renigging the Clone Saga. I got mad and left the titles in a difficult decision and have yet to wholly return.

I'm very pissed at th' moment. They put Ramos on Wolverine. I stopped readin' when Miller an' Romita were on it 'cause, well, they SUCKED, an' HoM restored me to it. That's right, 2 arcs later an' it looks like I'm gonna be droppin' my flagship title AGAIN.

Th' Wolverine AIN'T happy.

First comics? OOoh, me! Me! I can! Me!

Heh my first comic (or rather, th' first comic on top of my first stack) was Silver Surfer vol. 3 #55. My second was an Amazing but I can never remember th' damn number. 358, I think. Round Robin: The Sidekick's Revenge part 6 with a gatefold cover.

An' don't ask me why I remember this but my 4,000th comic was th' Colossus Battlebook. Back then I kept track of every 25 I got. Stopped after my 3rd list crash.

You know I was thinking about this for awhile and I am glad no one brought it up, especially Blaze in my matchup between Gideon and Sinister. But wouldn't Gideon and Mimic been able to duplicate some of Galactus' powers? Or would that have been too much for them to handle?
