Tina Faye and Jimmy Fallon were usually spot on with the Weekend Update. And, you always knew once it was over, you could turn off the show. All the skits got so much worse after that.

Powder, are you able to post Drax vs. Quasar for your next match in Sparta's thread if it comes to that? Since we probably can't expect a debate from Death's Head, I would think just post the match as it stands. I wouldn't put any restrictions on this one....let people do their usual arguing about who they think would win.

If that's alright with you, I'm going to let you end voting when you're ready to post your next match-up. (I don't know how likely it is to get any additional votes at this point.) Then, I'll try to get the next set of matches up on Saturday as soon as possible.

Anyone with any problems with any of this, just post on here. JH can make a final decision then.

Yeah, voting for the character you like the most over the one who would actually win is teh lamer.

Oh, well. I'm really happy with Super Skrull's showing against Cable. Thought he might actually pull it off for a while there.


When we started this tourney, I did not expect Forge to be my last character. I knew I'd be able to get him pretty far even those he's not one of the ultra powerful, but I was convinced the Surfer would be the last one I had.


Anyone else surprised at the characters they still have going?

I was surprised that Nathaniel went so far, as well Kaine has pulled some close matchups.

I was dissapointed with some of my power players. I thought Cassandra Nova would make it farther but she lost against a tough person. I am saddened to see Iron Man go down, that's probably my biggest dissapointment. But oh well.


BTW the Quasar vs Drax matchup is up. Feel free to vote.
