The main question is how did magneto manage to escape. on the other side of the bridge was plenty of army officers and x-men and a human in a purple helmet and cape, how the hell did they miss him running away?

dude should be behind bars like a caged up mofo....





it would have been better if they had put him in a normal prison at the end of the film with metal bars (since they think he's been cured) and you see him bend a bar a little instead of that crappy rushed chess scene.

About you plot hole mongers out there, please just give it a rest.

X men 3 is a movie. You're asked to buy into the fantasy that there are people out there with enough power to move bridges, heightened regenerative powers, skins made of metal (and skeletons coated with metal), and mutants can control people's thoughts with the power of their mind. You're asked to buy into this fantasy.

So just buy into the fact that there was a way they all made it to where they were supposed to be. At exactly the time they needed to be there. Don't bother with the why's, where's and how's. Just accept they mysteriously found a way.

And then go on with the rest of your day.

1. Mystique turned into statue of liberty in X1. i don't see whats the problem of her turning into little girl. Also when she morphed into a girl, don't you think she will be out of the cuffs easily ?

2. Another mistake about Mystique was so awful ! if you look closely once she walked out of her cell, you can clearly see the wrinkle of the make up on her leg when she started walking !!. i saw this twice and it was so stupid !

3. When Logan found cyclop's glass flowing in the air, picked it up and held it in his hand then we heard storm called him out inwhich he ran up to her, the glass was vanished ! and check out his pocket, it wasn't there.

4. Juggernaut threw logan up to the second floor then he came down in another room. look closely, the stuntman's leg still stuck on the second floor and already another stunt guy came down the next room.

5. Jean destroyed everything in the house and demolecurized Charles. when Logan and Storm ran into the house. The wheelchair was there with a bit of damaged and dust. Cut to the funeral and you get to see brand new wheelchair in the room.

6. Bobby iceslided from NY to San Francisco to look for Rogue and iceslided back to New York in time to join X men. why couldn't he called them on a cellphone and waited there.

7. The purpose of attacking Alcatraz is to kill leech and to intimidate the people. Why can't he crashed the gate a little closer to kill everyone ?

8. When the bridge came down, there was a lot of smoke from dust and all but everyone still look great especially Jean with her flowing hair.

9. It took a person more than a year to grow hair from Jean in X2 and in X3 length. i think she got hair extension inside the cocoon.

10. When Calisto jumped to tackle storm on the air. it was clearly storm's mock up as it has no movement and everything was stiff.

11. When we see X men line up, there was a shot from the distant behind them. look on your left, you see a person, could be Daniel Cudmore or some stuntman wearing metal suit. look at the helmet the guy wear. it was huge !

12. When the battle was over, everyone took domestic flight, while storm took Greyhound back to NY.


i can't believe this movie has so many mistakes that i caught all of this in 1 showing .

i was with my friends so we were kinda hoping his pants stayed on lol

You would think they would at least shred down to shorts or bikini's or something realistic. I also had a problem with him healing so fast. I would at least expect more than just his outer layers of skin flaking off too. They should have shown some guts, muscle layers or more deterioration down to the bone.... Probably would have grossed fans out though.

Just to say, this didn't bother me. Remember how many cars were in the garage in X2? It makes sense that a very rich person, who goes to the trouble of getting a customized wheelchair, would have a few. I'm on crutches at the moment and, while I'm not the uber-rich headmaster of an upstate private school, even I have two pair!

The statue of liberty was up on a pedistal and was also relatively the same height as the team, if you think about it. That kind of statue wouldn't have been sitting on a bare floor, I'm sure it would have been elevated off the ground, just like the real one.

Her scales were also coming off on her shoulders when she was shackled up in the truck.

Someone else had pointed that out too.

Good catch, I didn't see that. Although another problem during that scene was if they drove that Maybach car, how did Xavier's wheelchair fit if it's not collapsable?

The guy was filthy rich... It could have been a spare. Or, the same one could have been repaired. Just a thought.

Yeah, a simpler plan would have been to use the metal in the area, turn it into sharp shrapnel (ala plastic prison, "too much blood iron") and let it loose throughout the entire island. Or option "B",to drop the bridgeon top of the island itself. But I digress. That's an entirely different topic.

I mentioned the amount of force coming down too, but no one seemed to care about that, or the height in which it was dropped.

Those extensions really bothered me too, considering she has a feathered look in X2, similar to Storm's haircut now. What Phoenix had - had to be at least two years worth of growth.

I think people are being too picky with this movie. Some of you just look for "holeplots" everywhere.

It's like one thread where somebody said that Leech's power was just plain wrong and stupid because his cells blah blah blah. If we don't start believing this kind of world is possible, stay at home and don't watch this movie, since it's FANTASY.

About the travels around the US thing, we just don't know how many time passed between scenes. You just have to believe that's just not instantaneous.

He was originally organic steel not real metal but a form of humaniod skin. Of course the comics has have changed everything......

hmm did it show the black bird decinigrate? if so i missed it but i guess i can assume it did since they didnt fly out on it and she blew everything up.

u know wat was a good shot tho even tho this is off topic. wen the door to the black bird hanger opens and the x-men walk thru and wolverine jus sorta looks for a bit before walking. this shot was pretty emotional for me becuz it was like the x-mens last adventure if theres no x4 was begining also becuz i knew wolverine was going to kill jean and it was emotional to me :P

but anyway yah as for the mystique thing im sure she wud have helped magneto plan all this before being captured meaning shed know where his base is

Yeah that's kind of the issue with this movie is that the plot holes were fairly apparent.

we probably should just not think too much into it.

Just because you don't see something tediously shown on screen doesn't make it a plot hole. It's called good story telling. If people would've seen Warren using some of his wealth to rent a private plane would they have been happier? How about shots of him eating a meal in flight? You mean Angel never eats food? Wouldn't he die without nourishment? Isn't that also a huge plot hole?

How can people seriously question how Magneto got away at the end? People are literally disintegrating left and right and someone actually expects law enforcement to pause and arrest someone? I would've been running for the bay as fast as I could with a huge load forming in my pants.

I honestly haven't read one valid criticism here yet.

I should answer other questions here but I'll field this one.

He wasn't killed because of course his head happened to be above ground...! You only die when you suffocate in solid substance, and that's when your head is inside.

If your body is stuck, it doesn't affect or even harm your wellbeing: you're just stuck.

Shadowcat did a similiar thing to Jugs in the Evolution cartoon and he didn't die.

Another example is Jumanji: Robin Williams was stuck but of course he didn't die.

This was a face paced movie. We have no idea how long the film actually took place. Maybe it was a few days...maybe it was a month. Because it was such a face paced film, you don't really know. Do how long the events of X1 occured?

The only two errors, I wouldn't call them plotholes, would be Wolverine's shirt magically clean again and the GGB day to night shot.

The rest that has been posted is just fanboy nitpicking.

How did the X-Men escape without their jet?

I'm sure there was some helicopter there and, wait a tick, wasn't there the bridge that lead to safety???

I guess because Colossus' meta is organic so Magneto has no control over it, however, I haven't comics in a while.
