Crank 2: High Voltage

I really liked the first film, but something about that footage looks... under-produced or something, almost like direct to video. I can't put my finger on it, but I don't like it.

Apparently it was shot on low budget HD cams. The kind you see on high end student films. It's bizarre.

Yeah I believe they literally bought the cameras they are using from Best Buy.

Yeah I remember the interview with Neveldine and Taylor. They also said it wouldn't look cheap though. I'm guessing they'll fix it up on post.

I'm game for it, but the trailer really doesn't do much more for me. The concept, Statham and Amy Smart are about the only draws for me at this point.

Even the non-profane trailer's awesome. Chev is officially Statham's coolest character. He may not do kung fu like The Transporter, but makes up for it with sheer insanity.

Chev is the greatest character ever because he's a videogame brought to life. :o

Plus Jenna Haze makes a cameo yo, that's f**king ****.

Just like I thought, the footage from the teaser has been through post and now looks good.

Saw the latest Trailer to this film with MBV. It looks pretty damn good. I like an action film that doesn't take itself too seriously. The trailer was pretty much a laugh riot and the action looked impressive.

i gotta say
all the posters to this movie look very ****ing cool

Yeah this is going to be ****ing awesome, Statham is the man!

I've talked to the guy who takes the pictures on another forum....if you care.

I'm glad he survived the fall instead of them copping out with a "It was a dream!" sequence.

They showed Crank on TV a couple of days ago and I tried to watch it but changed the channel after 15 minutes. I sort of liked The Transporter and thought Id give it a try but I just couldn't get into it.

Anyway the real reason why Im posting is because I found the trailer to Crank 2 to be absolutely hilarious because of the clip where Jason Stratham rips open his shirt so he could get electrocuted on the chest. It's funny to me because there's a clip almost exactly like that in the commercial for the Transporter 3 DVD.

Best. Tagline. EVER!

Schwarzenegger and Stallone can rest comfortably knowing trashtastic nonsense like this will keep being made long after they're gone.
