Crank 2: High Voltage

he was going WAY WAY WAY too fast for the car to cushion his fall. by rights he should have gone through the car, but i love the movie and the ending. if they were to make a sequel i would probably see it, but truth be told, if they made a sequel i would want it to be a totally different guy and story, MAYBE having the chinese drug they used, maybe. no statham. unless they include that he broke most of the bones in his body and it doesnt' take place rigth afterwards. i mean, the movie started with him being told with him dieing, which was drawn out just long enough for him to do what he needed to do and then, alas, he dies. perfect ending. he shouldnt' be brought back

TRANSPORTER 3!!!!!

i think well see crank 2 and transporter 3 so im not too worried about it .

Your complaining over that. How about all the energy drinks/drugs he took. Wouldn't he have died of all that to. Stop being so picky the movie isn't supposed to make sense.

Dude, I'm not talking about drinking a lot of ****ing red bull and rockstar. I'm talking about falling from a freaking helicopter and dropping like an anvil onto a car before bouncing off and hitting concrete.

At the very end didn't Statham open his eyes after he landed or blink or something.

Maybe the idea behind this one will be chev chelios, entirely paralised from the neck down, sit's in a hospital bed and does extreme mouth tricks to keep his adrenaline from dropping.

That's right, 2 solid hours of hardcore straw twirling with his tounge you guys!

LMAO!!! thats amazing

Yes he blinked, but that doesn't mean he's alive. Scientifically it's a nerve thing. That doesn't mean he was still alive, unless the filmmakers come up with some contrived reason or whatever.

I think Crank was just a fun, stand alone action film. It was ridiculous at times, but in the world the movie presented you were able to buy into it. Crank is also the closest you will ever get to a good GTA or Max Payne type of movie.

thats what i liked about crank it seemed like a loose adaptation of gta .

Jason Statham Set for Crank 2
Source: Variety
October 30, 2007

Jason Statham will reprise the role of hitman Chev Chelios in Crank 2: High Voltage for Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment.

The two companies are also teaming on Game, starring Gerard Butler. Michael C. Hall has signed on to co-star in the futuristic thriller.

Both films, which are being shot back to back, are written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the team that created the 2006 sleeper hit Crank.

Lionsgate will handle North American distribution, while Lakeshore will handle international distribution.

In "Crank 2," Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

Game is a high-concept thriller set in a dystopian future. Amber Valletta, Logan Lerman, Alison Lohman, John Leguizamo, Johnny Whitworth, Zoe Bell and Kyra Sedgwick round out the cast. Principal photography begins November 5 in Albuquerque, N.M.

I loved Crank, but this is just too outrageous. Semi-quoting Jeremy Sisto's character on "The Movie Hero" realizing what would've happened if his character would've been killed: "What about the sequels? Oh. . . The studio would've been f@)ked!"

The rainbow puppies carried him down to safety. That's what I believe happened.

**** YES! This movie rocked my balls off. Who cares if he should have splattered into a million bits and pieces, I'll gladly accept that he's such a ****ing badass that he can live for another hour and a half, or a day and a half, or a year and a half or more!

i loved the first movie. i'll say that i would have been perfectly content with the way it ended as being the last we see of this character. BUT, i guess if he had survived the car accident somehow, by rights he should have at least broken the vast majority of bones in his body. most people go crashing through cars when they fall out of a 20 story building and they have a mangled body from it as well. he actually bounced, so either that was just conveniant for him or they did that on purpose...although you think they would have land on something that would have been a LITTLE more believable. i mean he was free-falling for well over 2 minutes. i'll see part 2 probably but they better have one hell of a good explanation as to how he survived in the first ten minutes.

I don't mind a sequel but this is a ridiculous concept...I'll watch it though. I'd rather have seen him survive and have the character turn into a Punisher like force.

Bwahahahaha, count me in
I hope we get a better Crank dvd as well :D

Wow, how the hell can you have a sequel for this? I mean the first one was a fun movie, but...

Oh, who am I kidding?
Battery-powered heart that needs regular jolts sounds like great/ridiculous fun to me. :D

he's like a bootlegged cyborg....And after taking his heart...why keep him alive with a fake one?

I love Crank, and Jason Statham! I can't wait for this heat-pounding sequel!

Yeah, because the movie was all kinds of realistic.

This is going to rule if they keep it as fast-paced.

Maybe there's just so much adrenaline pumping in his body that he just survives the fall. Woman lifts car to save baby due to adrenaline. I think it may be possible...

But is anyone stupid enough to attempt to find logic in Hollywood anymore?
