Can someone who has seen it please describe the opening, the cerebro door, the scene with Jean as a child and where the X-MEN LAST STAND words actually show up? I'm scared about the continuity of the films...

personally i loved x2 but i think it had its flaws too it was too "cerebral" and the x kids were really boring

I love X-Men 2 (Best super hero, next to Superman II)! But if the movie was not on par with it than its not as great as it should be!! The scope of X3 is Huge if it cannot deliver than, thats just wrong! We are talikkin Pheonix, Sentinels, Brotherhood!!!

Well, actually, we're not talking Sentinels. I think everyone built up expectations for this film, like the Sentinels, that were never going to happen, and that's what's led to this surge of negativity when, all of a sudden, we're getting a (relatively) Sentinel-free movie that's not some bloated, 150 minute uber-film.

That said, I hope some more positive reviews roll in over the next few days. Between that and the onslaught of excellent clips, I think the good buzz will get people to theatres in 12 days.

I wish Singer worked a little more on the project so maybe they would have stayed closer to his vision, we would have got an X-Men 3 last year followed by and X-Men 4 a few months after!

IM sure Singer wuldnt have let us down and give us Sentinels, and the "real" Danger Room, Pheonix, and everything we pretty much have wanted in two spectacular movies!!

I agree. We would also get movies longer or about 2 hours. Its ashame Singer left.

No way Singer will be back as long as Fox is in charge. Once Marvel gets the rights back then he'll return most likely.
