Civil War Crossbones

Bucky's serum was experimental and probably more than a bit dodgy, so I wouldn't expect him to be the strong super soldier that Steve is. He's much stronger than normal but he can't win out over Steve physically. However, he probably knows a lot of moves that Steve doesn't, so I think they're essentially even. Bucky was punching Steve in the face with his metal arm, I think one more blow would have killed Steve if Steve's words hadn't stopped him.

I saw 'The Purge: Anarchy' earlier today. Frank Grillo was bad ass and the best thing about the movie. Rumlow needs to make another appearance, maybe even in a One Shot.

...Grillo would have been an awesome Frank Castle too.

Saw this awesome fan made concept art for a cinematic Crossbones. I'm very impressed and this would visually fight right in. That mask is awesome.

That is pretty neat and I'd love it if that is what we got.

That is bad ass except for the white lump on his forehead.

Actually that would look good on the big screen! After all, Rumlow was all burned up.

It is a great concept and would look awesome on the big screen.

I still think theres a possibility that Red Skull will return.
Theres always been an annoying way for him to come back in the comics
but thats only natural as Red Skull is the best villain that Cap will ever face.

I would love to know what the russos can do with the red skull since he is such an iconic villain who wasn't used very well at all.

That said though everyone will start to get a bit bored of literally everyone from ww2 comes back so if they don't use him that's fine. His spot can easily be taken by crossbones and zemo

Well the situation is rather different with the Red Skull than it is with Cap and Bucky, and that's excluding the fact that he's Cap's archnemesis.

Wouldn't Bucky have had the same serum as the Red Skull? Or an improved version that didn't make your face turn red?

Zola was experimenting and like every other scientist over the decades was unable to successfully replicate Erskine's formula. Erskine also had the perfect test subject in Steve, with any other man it wouldn't have worked the same since it enhanced what was already inside him not just his innate goodness but maybe also his mental strength and iron will.

Zola probably thought that dialing it back would keep his test subjects including Bucky more stable - unlike Red Skull or Blonsky and The Hulk who also have some attempted form of the Super Soldier Serum.

Or maybe Sebastian Stan already has the ideal human form.

No? No one?

Sorry....

I just saw this in my home-viewing of TWS:

I'm sure everyone's seen it already. But it's a really cool incorporation of Crossbones' comic look by making the straps white on black suit.

Always loved Crossbones in the comics. He has to join up with the Red Skull. It is afterall Skull and Crossbones.

Maybe that bionic a gave Bucky his super powers, and cross bones gets a mask to cover his disfigured face that does the same thing.
