One thing I'll say though is the weird use of compelling...I mean Klaus could have compelled Stef and pumped him for information months ago. He also could have compelled the elena not only to stop resisting but to become his lacky for life...
I think ThinkHeroTV described it best in that Klaus is simply lonely and did see Stefan as a real friend (hence, why he didn't simply compel him into obedience and information). As for why he didn't compel Elena from the start, well... where's the fun in that? Klaus was in control of the situation the entire time. So, why bother?
It's an interesting direction, unfortunately it undermines the plot. For example I love when characters stick to their motivation but not at the expense of thier motivation.
Klaus may want to re-kindle his friendship with stef, but does he want it more than his life consuming obsession? I say nay.
"Hey Stefan, you're acting suspecious as hell, tell me what you're hiding and tell me now because I need to freaking know."
Is anyone else getting incest vibes from Klaus and Rebekah?
Now how the **** did HE come back?
I have a hard time believing that a vampire could die of blood loss. I'm sure Katherine's fine.
As for Uncle Wolfie. I think he's probably a ghost too. [blackout]I read that numerous dead characters will be back (including Grams and Anna's mother, Pearl) and an upcoming episode is titled "Ghost World"[/blackout].
Possible.
Also, since Anna sticking around with Jeremy will likely cause problems with Bonnie, is anyone sensing that Bonnie and Matt are going to happen? Frankly, in the last two episodes, I've seen more sparks between the two of them than I've ever seen with Jeremy.
I wonder if Stef will ever get his soul back
I reckon the ghosts are back thanks to the witch Vicki mentioned who seems to hate Klaus and that she will be the Big Bad of the season.
