I like how Dobrev keeps the two characters so incredibly different. She really is a very good young actress.

Agree with the Katherine 2.0 comment. Katherine actually was more human than Elena this week

Watching repeats of Seinfeld. Jerry dated both Caroline's mom and Tyler's. :funny:

Steven R. McQueen Returning to The Vampire Diaries
by Natalie Abrams

Jeremy lives! Maybe. Probably not.

Steven R. McQueen is set to return to The Vampire Diaries this season, TVGuide.com has learned. TVLine.com first reported the news.

McQueen's character Jeremy died in a February episode after Katherine (Nina Dobrev) essentially handed him over as a feedbag to the evil Silas, who bled him dry and then snapped his neck.

The real question is whether McQueen will return as Jeremy in a flashback or if Silas will take on his form as he's done with other characters, like Caroline (Candace Accola).

Are you excited that McQueen is returning? What are your theories on how he's coming back?

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.

(Full disclosure: TVGuide.com is owned by a joint venture between Lionsgate and CBS, the latter which also owns The CW in a joint venture with Warner Bros. Entertainment.)
I'm assuming Silas, but I'm not sure McQueen has that kind of range...

Am I the only one who hates that the writers are trying to make Caroline and Klaus a thing?

Eh. I don't love the idea, but they've got chemistry. Frankly, I don't find it any more appalling than Elena falling for Damon, a 200 year old child that throws murderous temper tantrums every time he doesn't get his way. At least Klaus is bad with a purpose.

Let's be honest here, who doesn't Candice Accola (Caroline) manage to squeeze chemistry out of? You could probably pair her with a rock and they'd still make engaging interactions.

Can I be that rock?

Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of Damon/Elena either. I don't want either brother to end up with her, honestly. And I just feel that Klaus has done way too much wrong to both Caroline and the people she loves for her to realistically have feelings for him. To me, it just comes across as...icky.

I don't think there is much romantic subtext. At least, not from Caroline. At best, she's trying to pull out the good in Klaus - which is definitely there, just buried deep - which is very much in keeping with her character.

I don't see it that way. The way the writers are writing it and the actors are playing it, it seems to me that the characters are undoubtedly attracted to each other. To Caroline's credit, her feelings for Klaus - whether they be romantic or platonic - seem to be very reluctant (and for good reason). But the fact that she feels any positive feelings for him in general is kind of sickening.

But I'm being a little hypocritical. I used to support Damon and Elena getting together, after all.

Caroline and Klaus IS very one sided. It's all him Into her.

Besides that ship Is a moot point. The CW will pick up the Originals and that will be end of
It.

Watching Bonnie ****ing Elena up was fairly enjoyable.

Also that peek at Silas' true face was fairly unsettling.

I really wanted Bonnie to be like to Elena. "look b, if you ever try to bite me or harm me again, you wont have to worry about anyone shoving that cure down your throat since you wont have a throat for them to shove it down"

I just wish someone would put Bonnie in her place. All this crap with Silas is her fault to begin with.

I loved Damon's line about Stefan talking about his hair :woot:

Will Elena get her humanity back this season on The Vampire Diaries? She really sucks! — Tanya
NATALIE: That remains to be seen, but in next week's episode, Damon will put one of Elena's friends in extreme (aka life-or-death) danger in order to get some emotion — maybe even tears! —out of her. But who's the pawn in Damon's plan? Hint: He's a dying breed on the series.
:whatever:
Damon, go kill yourself. Your schtick is annoying.

Matt is the pawn. Stefan is just as much a part of this plan as Damon. I wish both of them would **** off. Emotionless Elena is great. Emo woe is me Elena can go get staked.

I dunno... "emotionless" Elena feels quite bratty to me; prone to temper tantrums and acts of pettiness. Honestly, if "emotional" Elena is emo, "emotionless" Elena is childish. Honestly, I half expect her to start going "neener-neener" whenever she does anything she isn't supposed to or whenever she messes with the other characters.

Oh. Well. ****.

I'm sure the Klaus haters are just thrilled with that development.
