I just watched the last 4 weeks back to back.I love Rebekah more then ever.

So I'm incredibly curious how we still have 9 episodes left!? I mean it feels like we are leading to the season finale but still have over two months of the show left!

Really? It doesn't feel like we're leading to a season finale just yet. At least, not to me.

My guess is that Silas will get out in the next couple of weeks; after which point the show goes on a short break for another couple weeks. Then, when it comes back, the plot will revolve around whatever new threat or fallout unleashing Silas causes; which in turn gets wrapped up over the course of the remaining (seven?) episodes. Whether Silas survives or is put away depends on what that solution is and what the creators have planned for next season.

Plus subtract 1 episode for the Klaus backdoor pilot.

Jeremy is the main protagonist's brother. Higher in the ranks than Alaric. If they do keep him dead then I will tip my hat, but I don't see it happening.

Eh. The main protagonist's brother is not the main protagonist. Now, killing Elena? That would be quite a feat.

If they actually killed off Jeremy, then holy hell! If not then just a small holy hell since itll be same old, same old. And Katherine must have been tracking them for quite some time to be able to dress as Elena. Also wouldnt Bonnies spell only lift if she were dead?

That's what the original perception of the series was. Then people saw that the writing was much better and they crafted a pretty impressive mythology. Plus the actors actually manage a certain level of charisma. So no, it's not basically Twilight.

It is basically if True Blood and Twilight had a child together...we would get VD.

I always think of it as our modern Dark Shadows.
