It is clearly ironhide coming out of the pool,here's more of a description if you need it

Optimus has two 'toes' on the side of his feet,which none other autobots have,the robot we see in the feild near the burning tree has those two 'toes'.
The one coming out of the pool didn't, and it changed into the truck in the driveway

So what if he was taller than the tree, Jazz was practically the height of the whole dealership, he was 2x taller than he was after he taken the soltice form

umm prime isnt an idiot and he knows what he wanted that suite dhim and obviously the truck suited him and he liked the look of it. they all scanned cars that intrested and liked them. for example when bumblebee scanned the camero. it intrested him and he like dthe look of it. after all they are ai robots that can think for themselves. and choose what they like.

The driver don't pick the car, the car picks the driver.

And yeah, it was ironhide in the pool.

The protoforms, while somewhat similar, all looked slightly different (at least the ones shown).

You guys are also overlooking that the Protoform Prime that was running through the field LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THE PROTOFORM PRIME TOY.

Why would he run to a pool and fall into it...and then manage to change his head and general appearance?

Because they wanted to give prime the grand intro and finale of that scene(the ball begining to transform in the feild/ him being the last shown picking his alt form)

I can't even believe this is in debate. Ironhide comes out of the pool. He is in the driveway of that house when he adopts the GMC disguise. It cuts from the father *****ing to his transformation. Optimus is running through the field and up a hill. There are NO houses around...anywhere. Then he scans the truck that is passing by. How do you people not follow simple storytelling?

It played out dramatic because of the LITTLE GIRL, ppl. The girl at the pool was the only one out of everyone who actually witnessed a TF, an extra terrestrial, at that point (besides Sam and co)..it was an E.T moment.:heart:

Everyone chill. That's how it played out to me. No need to be such huge ***** about it ... cough DareDemon / Drizzle cough ...

It may have BEEN Ironhide in the script, that doesn't however it couldn't have been changed during filming. We'll never truly know, but I need to re-watch the scene has it happened so fast. Still though, Ironhide isn't near as huge as the t-former that comes out of the pool. Not EVEN CLOSE. Why couldn't it be OP (with red feet, not black) who gets out of the girl's backyard and ends up in a field later and scans a truck. The scene isn't played out in real time, so anything is possible.

Yeah, it was Ironhide in the pool. And to boot, he scanned the black gmc truck, which is what Ironhide uses as an alternate mode. Optimus was on the hilltop overlooking the road, he clearly scans the peterbilt truck and morphs into it atop the hill. This shouldn't even be a debate, it's clear as day as to who is who.

Nobody is taking offense, not me anyways. And if anyone is, then they're clearly insane. We are just correcting an incorrect observation, everyone makes mistakes, it's no big deal.
