Cyborg movie rumored to feature rest of Titans

If nightwing really is in BvS maybe he is working with cyborg along with the grown up teen titans now in their 20s

If Cyborg's movie is a Titan's movie I still want Cyborg to hold the main protagonist role and not have Nightwing steal his thunder. And if the Titans are featured they should be adults, Teen sidekicks never made much sense.

They should name the film Titans.. but follow the animated team up .... and They should keep a minor tension between cyborg and nightwing.. so that it is uncertain on who is the leader.. I would prefer Nightwing because he has more years of experience as a crimefighter..

First off... Where is this information coming from that Nightwing is at all in the film? Where? There aren't going to be these surprise cast announcements all of a sudden people. Dick Grayson has not been cast and in fact, if you've been keeping up with things you'd know that [BLACKOUT]there very well could be a good chance that the dead Robin in BvS is NOT Todd but Dick[/BLACKOUT]. So, the idea that there is a secret team of Titans out there is frankly, laughable.

Understand... They indeed will take great amounts of inspiration for these films, from the comics. That's kind of the point of it all, but these films are not about recreating everything in exactitude.

The presence of Nightwing obviously depends on how they treat the issue in BvS. I can actually see a Teen Titans movie without Nightwing and Cyborg in the sole leadership role- I know that wouldn't be the popular choice but I wouldn't mind that.

The Titans are Dick's team. Cyborg can be the main character of this movie but Dick should still be the team leader.

Well. Yes, that's true. But they can't chicken out of their Cyborg commitments now. They already get a lot of flak for their PC record. The press is gonna have a field day with that!

Well the Teen Titans TNT deal fell through due to a combo of TNT fearing superhero over saturation and a rumored bad script. I know DC TV and movies are separate but really except for the flash no big name heroes are ever going to TV. And DCWB have been restrictive on characters appearing in TV like The suicide Squad after the movie was announced. You guys think this means any difference either way?

Coincidently the supposed lineup of the TNT Teen Titans show notably had Cyborg left out.

I think a Cyborg movie could basically be 'Dawn of Titans', with the introduction of a few new characters and the decision to form a team at the end setting up the next movie, but also serving to characterize Cyborg in the movie itself.

All the JL members have secret identities (Well Aquaman probably won't, but that's most likely his choice), but Cyborg is the one who simply can't blend in. Any sense of a regular life died the day of the accident.

What happens when Vic encounters other characters in the same boat, like Beast Boy and Starfire? How Vic deals with these other characters could serve as a story about how Vic truly feels about his own situation. Together with Vic's ability of always being connected to the internet, Cyborg could be the superhero film to tackle themes of self-acceptance and growing up in the modern social media age.

Actually he can. He can retract his armor under his skin and can look like a completely normal Vic Stone. He choses not to which is cool. It's like some amputees who can hide their prothetics and people wouldn't have any clue they were missing a limb. Or others who rock their prosthetics with pride.

I feel like they need to add the Titans or something cool to this. Otherwise it just sounds like your standard single hero origin vs villain story, which sounds boring after all the cbm's we've gotten in the last few years.

It is, but it's definitely something they should keep. It gives Cyborg a cyberpunk feel that sets him apart from the rest of the JL.

That is a SOLID list. The only ones I'd really want to add would be Superboy, Kaldur, and Kid Flash. I wouldn't mind seeing Cassie Sandsmark/Wonder Girl either
