Jean was clearly out of her mind in X3, who would choose Logan (who had done nothing but waltzed in and shamelessly tried to steal other people's fiancee) over Scott in their right mind? Cyclops is fabulous!

Just saw X3 today on cinemax, it sucks so bad cyclops was left out of this movie. He did it to be on superman returns. How disappointing

That's not true because Tom Rothman and the writers(Zak Penn & Simon) intentionally wanted to make Wolverine the star of the X-Trilogy. Because in X1 & X2 James Marsden has all the time in the world but look at what they did to him? they gave him a very little role. And I remember Lauren Shuller Donner said that they will never make an X-men movie without Wolverine in it. So FOX and it's staff should be blamed not James Marsden.

I don't think James marsden had much say in how to get Cyclops' role right, he wasn't the one wrote the script, nor the one directed the movies.

I feel the X-Men franchise can be saved if X4 starts with Scott waking up in Sinister's lab. This actually should have been the secret scene from X3 NOT Xavier's body switch. That was dumb. Xavier just happened to have an unconscious twin and once in him, his powers would transfer too? Who writes this crap?

Imagine the excitement and glee of fans if at the end of X3, Scott wakes up in Sinister's lab and sees Jean's exumed dead body on a bed beside him.... Could Sinister revive her? And so X4 would be set-up and the franchise could continue and NOT focus on Logan anymore. And it sets up Sinister and Apocalypse as the villains of the next trilogy.

Don't start your getting me excited by reading that

You know I would so bloody love it if they done that it would make me so happy and hopefully he will get treated right as well.

I propose a no Logan story so his not in it, let it be the orginal X-men.

But I like your idea as at least we get Scott and Jean back.

After three movies with Wolverine in them, plus one of his own entirely, I hope he won't have a part if there's an X4.

In my opinion, the stars of X4 shoul be Storm, Rogue, Cyclops, and Gambit. With the rest as important characters too, of course, but those characters can be the main ones, perfectly. With Anna, Halle, more the new actor for Gambit.

James deserves his time of glory already.

That Cyclops ending could've been a great secret scene in X3. But if they made it an opening for X4 then that would totally rock. After 3 Wolverine movies and an upcoming spinoff, I think it's time for Cyclops to be the lead male of the X-men.

You can't really be an adulterer if 1) you were never married and 2) your significant other is dead.

I know that Jean was supposed to be skanky because she was "dark" and stuff now, but the film still obviously implies that she felt something with Logan - she makes the mental connection with him after Scott is gone, she seems to releasing some kind of "inner desires" in the infirmary - and I never really bought that she felt ANYTHING towards him in the previous films. She rejected him in BOTH of them, and Logan just kept after her like a damn puppy dog.

I'm at least grateful that Jean never tells Logan she loves him. That would've made me upchuck.
