Assuming she's Wasp, which isn't necessarily true.
Not sure how I'll take this with Hank being old and Janet presumably dead. I would have much rather preferred Hank and Janet being the duo on screen. If the trailers look good and word of mouth say the movie is at least decent I'll probably go see it. I just pray it doesn't end up like Iron Man 3.
Before moving any further, dont worry about drilling too deep into Feiges two more comment. He outright confirms that Wasp, a founding Avenger in the comics, has a role to play in Ant-Man, albeit an unexpected one.
She factors in a number of spoiler-ish ways, he says, choosing his words carefully. But we will see Janet van Dyne in action in this film, and sort of what happened to her.
Awesome news. Glad we will get see Janet in action. I bet she is in the south american compound scene
Interesting that they managed to keep her casting under wraps.
There is no actress. Apparently we only see her eyes through her helmet.
Do we hear a her talk?
"And while we dont know if she dies or gets lost in the microverse, Pym blames S.H.I.E.L.D. and resents superheroes."
Feige hints that Hope will don the Wasp outfit.
I hope (pun intended) that she will become Wasp in CW.I'm holding out "Hope" (no pun intended) that Janet is not actually dead but trapped in the Microverse instead. Now seeing as Hank and Jan were active in the 60's and 70's, a thought has occurred to me that if/when the rights to the Fantastic Four ever return to Marvel, a part of me has me suggesting that maybe being that they are Marvel's First Family, that they be based in the 60's as well. Be hard to suggest a much older Reed Richards working with Stark and Cap though not to mention an older Human Torch hanging out with Spider-Man even. Dunno, they could make it work I suppose. Heck, Doctor Doom could be unleashing terror with a walking stick lol!
Anyway, back on topic.
