Am I remembering correctly - did Affleck's Daredevil sleep in a floatation tank at night? Or did I just imagine that? If he did, do you want to see Cox's DD do the same?

They did have a scene showing him in a sensory deprivation tank.
I wouldn't mind if they reuse the idea.

I thought it might have been there. Well it is a quick way to heal injuries and aches and pains and relaxes the body, and athletes and other sportsmen use them to recuperate. They must cost quite a bit though as they're not cheap.

I'd like to sleep in one of them as my bed for the night.

she did in the murdock papers.

What is that?

Did Night Nurse ever know Jane Foster?

It also seemed to block out all the noice and sound for him, allowing him to sleep.

I forgot about that aspect. That would seem sensible and almost necessary to have a tank like that, and if Cox's DD didn't have one it might be a bit of a let down now.

I don't think they would want to reuse so many things from the Affleck movie, even if they were good ideas.

Is Cox DD going to just sleep in a normal bed though? How will he block out all those senses?

They could just design the floatation tank differently. It could even be a floatation room instead of a pod, which I think was what Affleck DD used if I'm not mistaken.

I just found out that there was a floatation tank spa very near me which burned down some time last year or so. :argh: That's annoying. I would've gone there but the place is closed indefinitely it seems.

It's a cool reference to the time Daredevil's senses went haywire. But I tend to think Daredevil's normally got his senses under control enough that he can sleep without the need for that.

Not that I really he thinks he sleeps all that much...

I don't think it's just for his senses though. That scene showed his body rather battered and bruised and wracked with pain. An isolation tank would help him to relax and speed up recovery each night, so really it would be the ideal thing for him to sleep in not just for that but also his senses. Even an hour in a tank apparently feels like several hours rest of a good night's sleep.

I want to sleep overnight in a sensory deprivation tank. The place that burned down near me used to offer that, unlike some other centres which only offer an hour. Now where will I find this? :argh:

What makes me most excited about these shows is that it's Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, etc.

It's Hell's Kitchen, K'un L'un, Gotham, Smallville etc.

Let's see the heroes in their element.

They better at least show The Battle of NY from afar....
Hells Kitchen is pretty close to Midtown (Stark Tower)

Here is an infograph I made for it....

Well, the Battle of New York would have been several years earlier, at this point.

the Murdock papers is the last arc of Bendis Run.

We don't, but I suspect it is after. They said it took place in the present. While they said that in relation to not taking place in the 70s or 80s, if they planned to set it a few years ago, I would imagine they would have mentioned that.

For some reason I thought I'd heard this was set to debut February 2015. Was gutted to find out it's May 2015 AAAAAAAH!

Ear plugs?

I just read return of the king again, and in it, Matt talks about his deprivation sense tank.

Which was written well after the movie and may have been inspired by it. Or it could be talking about the thing he used when his powers went crazy. We've seen countless times where Matt is asleep and he sleeps in a normal bed like everyone else.
