But presumably on Netflix, you don't have to watch them all on one day (ie the day it comes out)? It's on there for a while, right?

Well yeah, but as soon as it comes out I'm gonna be super tempted to watch it. No matter what day it is.

I will definitely not watch it all in one day. I hope there is other stuff on TV at the time as well so I can spread it over a few weeks and not just finish it in 13 days or less. Of course, most of the other shows will have finished by May, so that might not be possible.

If it's anything like my experience watching Orange is the New Black, I imagine I'll pace myself as best as I can and end up polishing off the season in a week.

I'm usually good with a couple eps a day. It's about the journey, not the destination.

No matter how hard I try, I'm going to end up watching it in 13 hours, maybe 14. I watched every BB episode, for the 3rd time, over the course of a weekend, a few months ago. I have a lot of free time.

I watched the series finales of The Office and 30 Rock on Netflix recently.

Thing is if you don't watch it all on the first day you have to avoid the internet like a black plague because surely there will be easter eggs, cameos and other surprises within those 13 hours and so soon as it drops people will marathon it, comb thru and go out of their way to make the information available.

I'll try to pace myself regardless and just avoid the internet during the first week it comes out.

I'm going to try and pace myself, but we'll see. I hope we have a plan for how to discuss it. Obviously, a thread for each episode with a rule of no open spoilers for things beyond the thread. I would suggest erring on the side of not discussing anything at all about future episodes until the thread for that episode, so we don't have to get into a fight about what a spoiler is.

Pictures and things like that might be a problem. But I'm still a season behind in House of Cards and Orange is the New Black without feeling spoiled. Maybe those are different kinds of shows, though.

forgot about this Netflix thing, so all episodes on May, damm, thats a long wait. I would have preffered to start seeing the show this year, and having one episode by week, instead of waiting all this much to have it all at once.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is going to be a 2 day binge and then a thorough rewatch to absorb it all.

No way I'll have any self control the first time around. All I have ever wanted since getting into comics was an HBO Daredevil series and now it's quite literally happening with the freedom of netflix, and it's going to be connected to the MCU.

I still cannot believe this is real. Yeah, total 2 day binge is inevitable, haha.

But seriously, I do hope to spread them out over a week span....but I have been a HUGE DD fan for 30 years....so I don't have much hope for that scenario. Most likely....2 days.

Have to be careful of spoilers in here when it comes out. As we will probably all be at different points of the season for a while.

That's why I suggested one thread per episode with a requirement that everyone be respectful and extremely careful about spoiling future episodes. Pretty much a rule of "when in doubt, don't post it." After all, if you really want to discuss something from a future episode, you can go to that future episode thread, or the general discussion thread, or post in spoiler tags.
