God I hope so.

I'm even a fan of both Punisher movies, but he's too good of a character not to interact with the rest of the MCU.

Both? BOTH?! There were three live action Punisher movies! I'm guessing you haven't seen the lesser known first one. You probably wouldn't think that one was good. :oldrazz:

Seriously, though, no skull shirt. They ****ed up the easiest costume in comics this side of Death Note's L.

This may be a controversial statement, but I think the '89 Punisher actually has the best story of all three of them. Not the best actor in the lead, and obviously not the best interpretation of the character or his look, but the basic idea of the Punisher wiping out the mob and the Yakuza sliding in to fill the vacuum, forcing Frank to team up with his enemy to take out the more dangerous foe, pretty great concept for a Punisher story.

I gotta watch that. I started it a few months ago, but I wasn't able to get very far. I'm a fan of Dolph Lundgren and 80s action movies, so I can't see myself not enjoying it.

It's fun but doesn't hold a candle to the '04 movie imo. Though the 'work in progress' line is supremely badass and better than War Zone in it's entirety.

Is Cox DD going to just sleep in a normal bed though? How will he block out all those senses?

They could just design the floatation tank differently. It could even be a floatation room instead of a pod, which I think was what Affleck DD used if I'm not mistaken.

I just found out that there was a floatation tank spa very near me which burned down some time last year or so. :argh: That's annoying. I would've gone there but the place is closed indefinitely it seems.

noise canceling headphones that generate white noise would work no?

I saw it many, many years ago. It's an easy movie to forget about. :o

D'Onofrio doing some Kingpin teasing: https://***********/vincentdonofrio/status/535942500692013056

My God. I can only imagine it. It'll be Vincent D'Onofrio in a suit and tie!

Another set pic

Nice! I wonder who that is running.

Looks like they are wearing a tie.

If they don't release something official like a look at the suit or a teaser or something soon I'm going to break someones leg!

Yeah, I'm desperate for something new! A teaser trailer just before Christmas would be ideal.

A new video interview with Rosario Dawson, where she's very cagey and very careful not to give anything specific away. But she does have some nice general comments to make about the appeal of Daredevil and the Marvel Universe, and beats on that "Kingpin is a lot more morally complex than we might be expecting" drum a few others have touched on.

I wonder if Owl is going to be written as a total psycho to make Kingpin look sympathetic in comparison. Owl has been written as a psycho in comics for the past 20 years (he is either eating rats or offing his own employees) and really a gang war story works better if the crime lords in question have contrasting personalities.

I wonder what kind of stories they are adapting for the first season. I assume they are adapting aspects of the Man Without Fear and it is likely they are adapting elements from the Gang War story (with Owl replacing Kingpin's lieutenants).

I saw the video. She does the usual "I can't say much" routine, praises Marvel and wants to appear in the movies.

so how prominent of a businessman is Fisk? Would he be on Tony Stark's radar at all?
