First world problems.![]()

The best part was that JJ starts filming. I have no problem with DD wearing the black suit the entire first season. I hope to God they base it entirely on the man without fear. That would mean they are planning several seasons. Marvel, as always, is playing the long game.

Lol, I know. It's also 100% accurate. No criticism! Just a poor attempt at the funny.
t:Man without fear is great, but it?s not 13 hours worth of story. Not to mention he's already a lawyer in the show. I'm hopeful he'll get his suit long before the end of first season.
Yeah it seems like Man Without Fear is a big influence, but there's a lot else going on. The presence of Karen Page and absence of Elektra is evidence enough of this.
I'd prefer having both.Hope that's not the case though... In fact, I would prefer an official image of the final suit over a trailer.

What would be the reasoning in Murdock's own mind in this show for switching from black to a brighter, iconic red? Not that it has to be such a good reason, because I don't want him in generic black for the whole season.
I think the simplest solution is the symbol angle. Creating a figure for the community to rally behind. You see someone all in black in a mask, they could be anyone out to do anything, but you see Daredevil, you know that as a resident of the Kitchen, you can feel safe, and as a criminal, you should be worried.
Despite me never been there, I've heard Hell's Kitchen is pretty nice these days so I'm curious as to they're portrayal of it. I can see why Carnahan's version took place in the 70's. Now there was a New York that justifies Daredevil in Hell's Kitchen.
I wonder if he's going to call himself Daredevil when he starts out, or whether someone gives him that name. He clearly isn't using that symbolism in his costume in the released photos but just looks like a generic ninja vigilante. Or if he doesn't use that name, maybe Claire Temple will give it to him? But why?
