Gahh are they using wire work for that wall run!? Please tell me I'm seeing things.
If there's a move that a stunt man/Parkour guy/acrobat can't do, I'd rather they don't make the same mistake as the movie and over compensate with bad wire work or even worse CGI.

I'm thinking that this first season is really just kinda his origin story. With the red suit not coming till like the last episode.

Well personally I am hoping they will have it before the last episode. I mean it is basically a 13 Hour movie, and most heroes have their origins told in 2 hours without it feeling rushed. So, for me even if they are taking their time and drawing it out as a slow story I could see it being all tied up between 6 to 9 episodes which would still leave between 7 to 4 episodes with him wearing various incarnations of his outfit and becoming the daredevil we know from the comics. However, the trailer has me stoked and I feel confident no matter what we get that Marvel and Netflix will not disappoint.

eon: The proof is in the pudding. Wait and watch the show before you start bashing it.

I don't see what people don't get about the final line. It makes perfect sense.

Loved the line. Great way to acknowledge there a part of the cinematic universe without having Captain America or Thor walk into the scene and ruining the tone.
I imagine we'll see some newspaper headlines like:
"NY continues to rebuild after Ultron disaster"

Oh ****, that is a red hand ninja. It was so dark I couldn't tell unless I was really looking for it.

Excitement just went up.

Not bashing the show (yet). Just making an observation on the trailer. Everything seems pretty perfect so far. The wire work thing is more of a nitpick. I'm just hoping I'm mistaken or I'm seeing things.

I doubt there will be any mention of Ultron since this would appear to take place before that. That's why they are releasing it in April so it fits inside the MCU. Trailer looks dope though, I can't wait to watch this all in one sitting!

In the first trailer they did a little when they showed Matt Murdock outside and him focusing more on a specific character getting into a vehicle in the background and everything else in the image was more fuzzy looking around him.

Surfer

Yeah, I remember. That looks like how Smallville did Superman's superhearing.

DD 03 sucks but I did love how they depicted how DD sees things. The outlines were noisy and confusing.

I also noticed some of the establishing shots of Hells Kitchen seemed to have destroyed buildings so that's another link to the Avengers.

Fantastic trailer :woot:. Looks awesome .

Holy crap, I am super excited! The worst part about all this is that those 13 episodes will be over in just a weekend and then we have to wait for who knows how long until next season.

You mean Chitauri. They are rebuilding following the events of Avengers

This is before AoU, not to mention I don't even think Ultron attacks New York, it's Sokovia and South Korea and South Africa that look like they will be destroyed.

Yeah, this has to be before Ultron. Although, with the long time between Netflix series, I wonder if they'll happen in "real time." That is, the ones that come out after AoU actually take place after it.

Agreed. With Clark Gregg wanting to appear in the series and his character having experience in designing superhero suits, I'm thinking that Director Coulson will drop off a package at Nelson and Murdoch in episode 13.

Hopefully he will get the cowl right this time.

Great trailer, Vincent D'Onofrio is perfect as Kingpin! The series has everything to be the best comic book based show ever.

How is that a fact? Not featuring it in the trailer doesn't mean there isn't one. They didn't show the final suit either but we know there is one.

Exactly, but even if there's no radar thing, it won't matter, this show will deliver great storytelling, acting and action.

Yeah, while I think part of the appeal for this is being able to tell that origin story and NOT be limited to two hours to do it, I also don't think it will take all 13. I think for the climactic final episodes, he'll be the fully-fledged hero we know. So I'm expecting to see the suit for the first time around episode 11-ish.

Oh my word that was glorious, Kingpin looks like having great potential as the villain and the fighting looks brutal as hoped. Sort of glad they kept the red suit under wraps, will be great to see in all its glory for the first time in the full thing in a months time.......although a part of me is itching to see it:woot:

Ans THE HAND, nice surprise that as well, :hmr:, shaping up nicely anyway to match the hype hopefully.

how is this forum going to work when the show is released? will there be a thread for each episode? or will we just have one massive thread for the series?

i would like a thread for each episode so we can go there after watching it to guage reaction but i also know it would be very difficult to keep spoilery stuff out of it since many folks will binge watch it.
