That'd actually be a great aspect to explore pre-radar sense. Maybe he's training to fight and keeps missing targets pathetically and sadly and then eventually through foucs on his other sense's he manages to learn to hit precisely.

That's actually a really great idea.

Does anyone want DD to come out of the box perfect as a crimefighter? Part of the fun is seeing his skills develop over the 13 episodes.

The only thing I'm curious about is if we'll see Daredevil over the rooftops of Hell's Kitchen and doing all kinds of crazy acrobatics and swinging the canyons of the neighborhood using his billy club grappling hook.

I'm assuming yes...but I can't wait to find out.

I love the batons. I don't know why but that's my favorite aspect of this.

This is just a hunch, but I don't think we will be seeing much of the swinging aspect. I'm guessing he will traverse the city parkour style only and we won't be seeing his traditional billy club and the swinging until the end of the season.

I'll love to see some epic parkour. Swinging Spider-Man style would be awesome too.

Yes. My favorite issue in a while, actually. And that's not to say the series has gone down in quality either, because it hasn't. I just liked how well this one flowed. It hit a lot of different story beats, and yet it didn't at all feel jumbled or overstuffed. Loved Matt's new "costume," too, as well as its introduction. Fun stuff all around.

Try convincing the diehards elsewhere that aren't fond of Mark Waid. But yes, Im tempted to cosplay this new look

Netflix screws up on my smartTV sometimes but luckily I have my ps4 and Chromecast. I will be ready for this when it drops

Was that TV spot the first shot of Scott Glenn we've got? Forgot he was in this.

The first big disappoinment from the DD movie for me was early on, after the awesome gearing up montage. Affleck immediatly drops 30 stories onto a scaffold then vaults another 10 stories plus 50 feet out to the neighboring building and starts an impossible series of Spider-Man level flips across the rooftops.

I love the DD movie for a lot of reasons but I hated that. Give me some reasonably believable parkour and the occasional billy club swing and I'm happy. I hate the idea of him swinging across town like Spidey; use the club line as a piece of gear that helps him with the real jumps he can't make unassisted.

And add some flair to the freerunning but keep it believable in a super-powered world in context. Stretch what we can do, in the way that guys like DD or Batman stretch human ability, but don't overdo it. If that makes sense.

I agree with you Whiskey. Radar Senses shouldn't make you Spider-Man level agile. I have faith they'll handle the parkour and acrobatic nature of Daredevil properly. I'm most concerned about the costume. I really want to see how the red devil costume looks.

Nah, he's shown up in both of the trailers. Excited for Stick, Glenn was a great choice.

Can't believe we're under 2 weeks till this drops. One of my buddies is on break that week, so we may buckle down and watch through some together. It's been a long time coming for some love for DD. It's pretty undeniable the movie dropped him into a hole for a decade in terms of public consciousness. Not that he wasn't super popular before that, but he was sort of cut off when he was festering at Fox. I was just super happy back when the sudden turnaround happened and the rights reverted.

Even defenders of Mark Waid seem to strongly dislike the issue. It's an unfortunate one to come out right at the same time as the show.

Q: Is Daredevils main fighting style ninjitsu? What other styles do you think he'll use?

I think his main fighting style is less stick heavy than that. In the comics, I see a lot of leg sweeps and just straight up punches. It depends a lot on the artist. Overall, it's a good combination of karate, jujitsu, and western fighting techniques.
