I'm not reading anything in case of spoilers...

All I have to say is, wow. The action, acting, comedy, and design of this show is remarkable.

Other than Cap 1 & 2, this is my favorite thing Marvel has done.

I'm currently on episode 4 and holy hell this thing is wonderful.

6 episodes in so far and I'm loving it, definitely the king of live action cb shows imo. Given the grittiness and violence of this show, sometimes it's hard to imagine it's set the larger MCU world lol

Yeah this whole world they've built is a complete 180 from anything in MCU. The show operates on its own terms despite some vague references to the Avengers.

That's what I love about this!

I feel the same way everytime any new addition to the MCU is released, but this takes it to a whooooole new level.

Now when you watch The Avengers, you'll know the events of this show will someday happen in this city.

When you watch the rest of this season of Agents of Shield, all this is happening in NYC, while Shield is going through their own Hydra, Inhumans, and Real Shield shenanigans.

When you watch Age of Ultron, you'll know all this happened in the city below surrounding Avengers Tower not long ago.

ok im 3 episodes in. not bad for a Marvel superhero i barely know anything about.

would recommend this to everybody but the squeamish. even if their budget looks to be a fraction of AOS, the story sure doesnt suffer for it. i hope this does well enough so that they get a second season and a much larger budget. this team has the potential to give Gotham a run for its money.

That and has already handed Arrow and Flash its CW arses repectively

Is Gotham good? First time I seeing a comparison being brought up here.

*snort* i wasnt even considering them to be on the same playing field.

granted, you have to consider where this series is airing. Netflix affords a lot of leeway with the ratings board that network series have to put up with.

its very good. but do remember its a network series. if DD ever gets picked up for a network airing its probably like HBO or something. the good stuff will never survive network censorship.

Two thumbs up already. Gotham does sound promising. Thanks.

Gotham is my least favorite of all the comic shows, and considering who my favorite hero is that disappoints me. I have no hesitation naming Daredevil the best though. The level of writing and acting is awesomely high on this show.

there was a stan lee cameo believe it or not. You just had to take a reaaally hard look

The writing is excellent but I'm really blown away by the level of acting. No weak links so far (I'm starting on the seventh episode shortly).

They're not even playing the same sport.

Also I don't get the it obviously has a lesser budget than AoS (Isn't it bigger anyway). And if it isn't looks far better than AoS.

I honestly don't get what part of AoS looks better than DD.

Im only on Episode 3, but the show's killing it. Everything's getting smoother and more polished, and everyone's getting more confident and comfortable. This is easily the best live action superhero show ever, and as good as the best live action superhero movies.

Episode one- 7.5/10
Episode two- 8.5/10
Episode three- 9/10

overall film quality.... sets... details like that. its the same way a viewer can subconsciously tell the difference between a movie and a tv series.

thats why--as i said above-- that if DD becomes a hit and they are afforded a bigger budget, it can definitely rival Gotham which has network money backing it up. except it doesn't have to worry about all the strings attached with network money. win win.

imo daredevil looks much much better than gotham. probably the best looking comic book tv show. cinematic, great sets, clever camera work, colors.. gotham looks cheap most of the time, you can see what they're trying to achieve but they fail miserably. again, just my opinion.

That's not a fair comparison, Flash has super powers and is more fantasy based with bright flashy lights and colorful costumes. As far as comic book based shows with super powers go, Flash is far superior than this.

As far as comic book shows with no super powers go, Daredevil is far superior than season 1 and 3 of Arrow. I'm on episode 4 and this is on par with season 2 of Arrow. This show is also much better than Gotham.

I know the obvious difference between TV and movie and AoS looks like TV, sometimes not good TV either. DD was in New York so I don't see how it's sets good look worse, and in the inside locations are supposed to look cheap thats the whole plot of the show.

What do you mean by rivalling Gotham? You mean in quality?
