Not to be rude or anything, but what's the point of buying this on Blu-Ray when you have all episodes available to stream? Granted, streaming can be very slow at times and I probably answered my own question with that, but still.

Dope ass special features? I mean, yeah, streaming it in HD kinda negates the Blu Ray set, but Blu Rays typically come with more than just episodes of a TV series.

EDIT do you actually live in Burque? Or are you just a huge Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fan?

There are people left in the world that don't have a 24/7 internet connection screwed into their buttholes, you know.

Spider please tell me you got somethin for us

Constant clarity. I go from a great HD stream to a stream that's maybe 480p. Besides, I want to add it to my Marvel shelf of movies. I could also watch it on my laptop if I was away from home and an internet connection. Same reason I bought Season 1 of House of Cards.

Yeah, streaming is the worst.

If I can't own it, I'll only do full digital. That's why I have a 4TB eternal just for tv shows/movies even though I have a 200+ dvd/Blu collection.

That reminds me of an article on ComingSoon about Fantastic Four's box office failure, which suggested that the movie performed a bit better internationally because people overseas don't have internet and cannot read all the bad reviews online or something like that... :funny:

Does that increase connection speed? I've been plugging it in to a modem all this time. :csad:

Special features are a must I agree. And I'm just a fan.

That sounds...painful.

I'm a bit of a completionist myself, so I understand. And it is convenient to have when you're traveling, since wi-fi on a plane costs money to access and you could end up in some middle of nowhere backwater motel.

Oh okay. Cool. I live in ABQ. Driving around, I pass locations from the show all the time. I also see them shooting Better Call Saul all over town.

My wife works right down the street from Hank's DEA office.

Shoot back on topic...um...um...Daredevil was a cool show. Yeah...

I wouldn't hold out for special features for the blu ray. Netflix didn't do any for House of Cards. Did they for any of their other shows?

If I'm not mistaken, Netflix doesn't usually own the DVD rights, just streaming.

I get the DVDs for the bonus features and because there's no drop off in quality. Sometimes the quality lags a little.

Have you ever went up and asked any of the stars for autographs?

I just preordered it from Barnes and Noble the other day (as in, last Friday). If it weren't coming out, I don't think stores would have still had it listed (and would have informed people that had already preordered it that the item was no longer available). B&N has already gone ahead and charged my account for the book - so it's possible there's a stock/backorder issue that's holding it up.
Did you ever receive this? If not, you should probably ask for a refund.

I actually got an email notification yesterday indicating that the order had been delayed - so I'm thinking that there was definitely a backorder/stock issue with the book that affected a lot of stores. Email I got indicated it should hopefully be shipping within the next 1-5 business days. Via my B&N membership I got free shipping as it was so I'm not worried about having been charged for a shipping speed that i'm not getting (due to the backorder/delay) - and B&N has been pretty good to me in the past so I have no problem giving them some leeway

Turns out Vincent D has been shooting The Magnificent Seven remake and just wrapped. Minimal appearance or no appearance at all in DD S2?

Nah, I don't do that kind of stuff. I have a fear of just walking up to total strangers and talking to them like that. Besides, any time I've seen them they're on set and working and you can't get near them anyway.

Like I said, I've been rewatching the show and I just finished Episode 7. My question is who is the guy Stick talks to at the end and if we'll see him in Season 2.

Blu Rays have a much higher bitrate than Netflix. At the same given resolution (720p, 1080p, 4K, etc) a Blu Ray will have much, much better image quality than a Netflix stream.

Also factor in offline use, special features (example: the Arrowverse sets come with gag reels, behind the scenes footage, Comic Con panels, and deleted scenes), and shelf appeal.

Drew Goddard says season 2 of Daredevil will 'blow your mind'

Yeah, I’m not running the show any more, Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are, and they’re doing a phenomenal job. I get to go and play. All I can tell you is that if you liked Season 1, then Season 2 is going to blow your mind. They’re going big.
