This is one area where I hope they don't follow comics canon. While I'm fine with them doing the death of Elektra eventually, I think Karen Page should survive in the MCU.

Or at least handle it better. The whole "tricking her into thinking she had AIDS" thing was, yeah not so good. It's funny when people say "if Bullseye shows up, I fear for Elektra's safety." A lot of them seem to forget that Bullseye ALSO killed Karen.

Elektra dying is an easy choice since they can just bring her back to life anyway. Karen's a much tougher decision and I suspect they wouldn't do it this season.

If they're going to kill Karen off, then they should also go down the route of her being a drug addict and porn actress too. Or maybe none of them.

Either way, when Bullseye finally shows up. He's gonna be an insane force of nature like nothing Matt has faced before him. I'm excited for Bullsyee in that regard.

I kinda agree. They've made Karen a pretty importance character and if they kill her along with Elektra they pretty much turn the show into a sausage-fest haha. They kill Karen and keep Elektra, though. I think it should be either/or instead of both.

And second, maybe it was just another law student who couldn't make sense of her textbooks, so she just said it's all Greek to me, and since she was telling the truth because she couldn't understand it, he took it that she wasn't lying so just accepted her words at face value.

Well, it was Foggy who said it, not Matt. But Matt knew who he was talking about, which suggests they both thought she was Greek. Given that he dated her, it didn't strike me as some kind of honest misunderstanding.

Seems much easier to just say that she's Greek, even if she's half-Asian.

No... I don't think it was just fan service. It seems like they had every little Easter egg planned out and had a purpose other than being fan service. The Iron Fist symbolism, Elektra, and possibly even the sniper with the playing card in his case being Bullseye. As for Elodie Yung, despite her being French Cambodian, she could be playing an Elektra that is part Greek and part Cambodian or whatever they want. It can be flexible.

$10 we get an episode where Matt is taking Karen out on a date and it has flashbacks to the last time he was interested in a girl, Elektra. Only to end with her reveal in the present day trying to take him out. Or it'll be the opposite where we get a reveal and we get the flashback of them all romantic together and then the present day and they are attacking each other. It's the contrasting plots of what used to be and what she is now.

They were specifically talking about Matt having a short-lived relationship with her that "didn't work out" like all of Matt's relationships.
