We'll probably not know the release date for certain until New York Comic Con, which is still 68 days away.



I'm convinced that the main credits cast listing will probably go like this for season 3:

Would be nice if we got a little Daredevil news at SDCC, but I guess this year, they really wanted all SDCC focus to be on Iron Fist (I'm guessing in their minds, they thought that as Daredevil is more critically successful than Iron Fist season 1 was, that anything Daredevil would steal Danny's thunder).

Well, last I checked, unless I'm mistaken, Daredevil is probably still filming, isn't it? Maybe any potential footage they could've shown they just wanted to keep close to the chest. Plus, with Daredevil's success compared to Iron Fist, you hardly need any buildup to get excitement. Heck, it could just be a bullseye and 'Season 3' and fans would lose their minds.

That's a great point. They know DDS3 will sell itself. But Iron Fist will need all the help it can get. That appearance in Luke Cage season 2 went a long way to rehabilitating him to audiences.

I think it also makes sense in two other ways.

1. They finish up the season 2s for the original four solo shows, before starting on the season 3s (except for The Punisher, which is coming after Daredevil season 3)
2. What you said, Daredevil will sell itself, since it's been more critically acclaimed. Putting it at the end of the year guarantees that Netflix ends the year on a high note regardless of how successful Iron Fist season 2 is.

Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3 Confirmed For 2018 Release On Netflix

That makes 4 Marvel Netflix shows in one year. I remember hoping we'd get three shows a year and now we got 4. I really hope this pace keeps up

I'm excited for Season 3 and I truly hope we get more seasons out of Daredevil. Out of the Netflix Marvel show, Daredevil is easily my favorite and it easily has the best leads in Charlie Cox... he's so believable as a blind man. We will probably see Fisk hire Bullseye to kill Daredevil (and his friends)

It is pretty cool that we're getting a season each of all four Defenders shows in the same year.

Never heard of this Bethel guy. He has a good look for [BLACKOUT]Bullseye[/BLACKOUT] but I'll be honest, I was expecting someone with a bigger resume for the part. Is Bethel a good actor? Anyone have opinions on him?

I have no opinion of him and have never heard of him, but he looks exactly like how I would want the character to look.

Well, admittedly, Wilson Bethel's biggest part prior to being Lester has been Wade Kinsalla from Hart of Dixie. The guy has the looks of someone who would have military training. I honestly expect that he will never be addressed as "Bullseye" but they will make visual nods to the name like show he keeps a dartboard in his apartment.

Nothing about Wilson Bethel screams Bullseye at all. But we shall see.

Chances are he won't even really be "Bullseye" this season at all.

If this is like a season that is a Bullseye origin, I am okay with it. I am assuming he will be an assassin and such already.

The fans also wanted costumes, but thus far (and this doesn't look like changing anytime soon), we haven't seen any, bar Matts. Actually, given the productions reluctance for costumes, I'm actually kind of amazed that DD even has one.

Largely in the Netflix shows, I have been very okay without costumes. I think the only guy who could maybe use one that doesn't so far was Danny, but the mask in the season 2 trailer looks so goofy, I am okay with a green hoodie at this point, LOL!
