i can't believe that after so much complaining the trailer showed exactly why he isn't in the suit. It was almost too perfect.

Wilson Bethel confirmed to play Benjamin Poindexter aka Bullseye.

Netflix has made it official: Bullseye is coming to Daredevil’s third season. New casting releases from the company have confirmed that Wilson Bethel will play “Benjamin Poindexter”, one of several official names that deadly mercenary best known as Bullseye has adopted over his years as a professional hitman. He’s well known for making Matt’s life... well, even moremiserable than it usually is in the comics, so expect big things from his arrival.

Couldn't be more stoked for this trailer. It really further amps the stakes here. Very Dark Knight-ish. The last shot really called this comic to mind:

My comment was going to be "I'm glad they're finally adapting Ann Nocenti's final Daredevil arc - such an underrated story." Seriously, though, this trailer is the first with shades of Born Again, but it also has shades of that Nocenti story, Guardian Devil, and Fall From Grace.

I wonder if we'll see Bullseye in a Bullseye costume or just a Daredevil costume. Either way, it looks cool so far.

I wonder if we'll see Bullseye in a Bullseye costume or just a Daredevil costume. Either way, it looks cool so far.

I saw someone speculate in this thread that Bulleye would adapt the Daredevil costume into his bullseye one. I could see that happen.

That trailer was sick. I got serious Dark Knight vibes from it in the best way. I almost expected Bullseye to say "This city deserves a better class of criminal." And I mean that in a complimentary way. I can't wait!

I can see Fisk regret hiring a psychopath like Bullseye towards the end of S3 and ask's Daredevil for help in taking him (Bullseye) out and they come to some sort of agreement.

I like what I'm seeing! Glad to see there's an actual good, sensible reason he's not wearing the costume, and not some half baked stupid Netflix-y excuse for it like I thought there would be. It makes sense Kingpin would do this in Murdock's absence. Now I just hope that this uses the thirteen episodes well and doesn't drag **** out where it doesn't need to.

If he wears the Bullseye costume, knowing Netflix we won't see it until the last episode. But if he uses the Daredevil suit as part of the costume, I'm okay with that too, given I always thought Bullseye's costume is a mocking of superhero costumes. He doesn't need to wear a costume, but he wants to.

There’s one shot from the trailer where Matt gets so mad that he does a cheap mugger swing punch at Kingpin! I really am curious to see how that confrontation goes down? Could that be a similar moment to Born Again where Kingpin just goes to town on Daredevil and completely beats him to a pulp?

Looking through the trailer again there are a couple of times when the fight scenes are rather sloppy, in the sense that some of the punches never connect and it looks really weird.
I don't know if they still have the same team in charge of the fight scenes but I hope for whatever reason they haven't turned down the quality in that aspect. So hopefully it's just those few moments seen in the trailer.

It's cool to see this season focused on Daredevil, Kingpin and Bullseye. Very simple but a lot of potential there for great drama.

I love the nod to "Guardian Devil" that we saw. Especially with them swapping roles so that it's Karen cradling Matt.
