Call me crazy, but I'm thinking they could pull off a Daredevil 2 type of movie that loosely follows the first film, but is different enough, with different actors, etc. that it could feel like a reboot.
Director: Ben Affleck
Maybe it's divine inspiration, but something tells me he's perfect. He loves the character and he's shown that he's pretty good behind the camera directing a dark drama. After the original film, he'll have the drive to prove himself to the fans.
Matt Murdock/Daredevil: Matt Damon or Damian Lewis (TV's "Band of Brothers" and "Life")
No need to vouch for Damon, since many seem to agree he's perfect. Otherwise, I think Damian Lewis would be very good in the part. He's an excellent actor and I think he looks the part as well (doesn't hurt that he's a red head). His face also has a quality that doesn't take too much to imagine it behind a mask.
Elektra: Sarah Shahi (TV's "The L Word" & "Life")
I can't really vouch for Ms. Shahi's talent. She's not a bad actress, but her TV work has never particularly stood out to me. She is, however, the spitting image of Greg Horn's rendering of Elektra and I'm just taking this opportunity to point that out.
Bullseye: Kevin McKidd (TV's "Rome" and "Journeyman")
He has a rather crazy look in his eyes that makes me think he could pull off Bullseye. If you've seen "Rome", you'll know how badass he is. Doesn't hurt that he's a damn fine actor.
Kingpin: ???
It's a tough role to cast as I can't think of anyone as physically imposing. Something tells me that if Albert Finney was younger and perhaps taller, he'd be pretty good. But alas, pipedreams.
Foggy Nelson: Paul Giamatti
Despite looking kinda old (actually, only three years older than Matt Damon), I think he could pull off Nelson. It's pretty much what he does. Doesn't hurt that he's a fantastic actor.
