I thought Bullseye was brilliant. I loved the little tics and all that. Farrell brought something really interesting to the character. I loved the scene on the plane with the little old lady. When she was jabbering on and on and on and you see him get visibly disturbed, like he was getting nervous or something. Hard to explain in words but it was very interesting portrayal by Farrel.

It is a matter of taste I guess... I thought the nervous ticks were obnoxious, and didn't resemble the original character in anyway (nor his costume for that matter). Granted... it is a movie, so different depictions and themes are perfectly acceptable... it just didn't work or me. I prefer the calculating, coy and edgy comic book version. Very in control and very sadistic. Not a maniacal psychotic ready to snap.

Farrel is a grade A, top flight actor, so I don't have issue with his performance. I blame it on the writer and director for setting the tone for the character that way. But if others liked it... it is all good. I didn't like a lot of things about that movie, so I won't pick on Farrel / Bulls-eye.

watched the Directors Cut tonight, yea, it's safe to say I LOVE this movie. It's definitley in the top 5 and a damn shame Affleck would never agree to do a sequel

That's fair enough man. I too love comic book Bullseye. Probably my favourite villain behind Joker.

But I could still appreciate Farrells Bullseye. But yea it's all a matter of taste, no worries

Yep. It went off my radar for a while then I picked it up a couple months ago. The DC is definitely in my top 10 comic book movies.

i thought he was an energetic phsyco sadist, and as for sontrol, you saw elektra death scene right?
she never touched him, he was better with the damn ai then she was!
"heah orphan,lets play"

Yea I loved the Elektra vs Bullseye fight. The way he was using his jacket sorta like a bullfighter "Toro! Toro!"

I still don't understand the hate. I think it got a lot of things right.

Agreed Eggy. It did get some things wrong, but the good outweighs the bad IMO.

Yeh, it's like we've been spoilt into thinking that every film that comes out should be a groundbreaking masterpiece. I just love it for what it is. Like a girldfriend or something; you don't love it for its flaws, but in spite of them.

truth. Daredevil was just a FUN (emphasis on the word fun) comic book film. Nothing more

I won't belabor the point... I understand and respect that a lot of people liked the movie. Overall, while it had some strong points, and some likable qualities... I want to the best for character. It doesn't have to be an academy award winner or some cutting edge masterpiece... I just was not all the entertained (perhaps just being too picky... which I am prone to be), and I feel that it fell far short of being "the best for the character."

Alas... that is all just one man's opinion. Peace out brothers (and sisters, as the case may be).

I liked Daredevil, I wouldnt mind a sequel but it's prob too late now and most of the cast have moved on. So I wouldnt mind a reboot

I hope Marvel make this into a low budget project, end-of-year thing, like the ones Feige mentioned earlier. Keep it small, make a lot of 'em

Like Blade, the series. Only better.

I want to see a dark, hardPG13 (TDK/Taken style), quadrilogy that takes elements from Born Again, Guardian Devil, as well as other stories

The Wire+anything = win

The Wire alone = epic win

And then some... DD and few other street level heros would be great for TV. I have mentioned that I would like a Marvel Knights anthology program that crossed over among 5 or 6 different heros like DD, MK, Luke Cage, etc... Then culminate to a major combined story.

Im not a fan of live action superhero TV, so I would hope that Daredevil stays in film

I'm diggin that idea Rich, if they are proper gritty and violent. But I would like to see MK get his crack at the big screen. I feel he deserves it.
