More Intrested In more or less sequel.Born again Is not the story you would do for a reboot.Follow the james Bond classic route of contunuing with new actors. The only
actor I hope they consider bringing back Is Michael Clark Duncan. The Director's cut was pretty good and should have been version released In Theatres. Now David Slade should not make the mistake of trying to put too many characters In the film. This was weakness of first film.

Hated the leather look and head mask. He needs to be agile, acrobatic, and ninja like, closer to Spiderman and look less like he's about to jump on a GSX-R.

Although I like Daredevil (the superhero), I'm very disappointed that Fox is able to keep holding on to the rights of DD, and make a reboot even though it's been 7 years since the Affleck movie debuted. I won't be surprised if Fox used the same trick to keep Fantastic Four indefinitely as well. :cmad:

Go the route of "Superman Returns" or "Punisher: Warzone" (as horrible as that movie was) in my opinion. That'd be the best thing to do if this is going to be a sequel. Have it acknowledge the first film but don't let it be obvious that it's a direct sequel, if that makes any sense. Michael C. Hall as Daredevil would be fantastic but that's definitely wishful thinking. If they do a sequel version, its only right they do Born Again but that would be obvious.

Eh, my hopes for this are low. I like the DC of DD, but FOX's recent track record on comic films sucks. They could brag about X-Men for a while, but that went downhill (and I am waiting and seeing on FC).

So, my reaction...I'll see it when it comes out. Doesn't mean I am excited for it.

I'm kinda iffy about this, I really didn't like what Fox offered us in the past with Daredevil. The film had a number of things that were just not good, his suit gave him more of a biker look as opposed to the sleek, somewhat stealthy design that the comics offered. The cast was a mixed bag, Jennifer Garner probably offering a very bad portrayal of Elektra, MCD's Kingpin didn't seem to fit in well, he came across as more of like some big CEO for a record label as opposed to a well known crimelord. Bullseye was....pretty interesting, I would have liked to see him do alot more.

I really hope Fox gets their act straight and delivers a good adaptation this time around.

I liked the DD costume from the film. I hated it upon first glance, but when you watch the film, it worked.

well if there was an urban legend of a devil running around the streets of Hell's Kitchen beating up people he deems guilty, I certainly wouldn't want him leather clad

He always looked like a sport bike rider to me and that mask with exposed neck was wack.

Slade’s pitch, I’m told, is said to be a "close cousin" of some of the other superhero movies out there in the market place (I believe he’s referring to films like "Thor" and "Captain America" which are bright, boisterous blockbuster types that skip on the gloom and go straight to the boom!) – which shouldn’t surprise anyone. "It’s a bit Batman Begins. The bad guy will learn who Daredevil really is and tries to destroy him – but not via the usual methods."
oh and LOL

And yes, with David Slade given the job, there’s "some kind of talk" about Robert Pattinson – who, with the "Twilight" series winding up, is going to be looking for a new well-paying gig – playing the part of Matt Murdock – - -which, I have to say, I don’t dislike the idea of.
:lmao:

The actors brought up after the initial director announcement are basically NEVER who they turn out to be.

Like Logan Lerman as Spidey or Matthew Goode as Superman.

Nothing against Robert Pattinson, but he's more PIETRO MAXIMOFF than MATT MURDOCK.

P.S.: He's friends with Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man).

This s**t's going to be too expense to be straight to DVD.

I'm glad that the cast is gone. Garner and Ferrell are good actors but they embarrassed themselves, hopefully the next cast doesn't have to go through that.

As for Affleck, he seems like a nice guy but he's a mediocre actor, always has been and always well be, I hope for a better lead this time around.

The rumors of Slade casting Twilight actors is just silly and are not to be believed.

i dunno, from what i've seen (mostly just hp4) pattinson is a decent enough actor and will probably be looking for something to broaden his audience after the twilight movies. i wouldn't be opposed to him playing a young daredevil

Man, I wish Marvel got the rights back. I mean, I hope it's good; but Fox's track record isn't that comforting. And if they actually want us to take this seriously, no Robert Pattinson. Please. Daredevil deserves better treatment than he usually gets.
