Vincent D'onofrio. Great actor.

I kind of like the idea of Michael Rooker (Mallrats, Henry: Potrait of a Serial Killer, Slither) as Kingpin. In Mallrats he comes off a bit like a poor man's Lex Luthor, and I think with some training he's proven he can get big. Of course, if not, there is always the special effects department.

Are you picking him just because of his bald head? He can get big, but not THAT big. He doesn't really seem like Fisk anyway but more of a lackey.

It's ok to look at actors that have hair boys and girls.

Val Kilmer or Vincent D'Onofrio.
Really? I can never see him as the Kingpin even if he was heavier. He doesn't have that intimidation factor, if you ask me. He's a fantastic actor, but he just doesn't have the voice, IMO.

I'm a fan of Stephen Marcus for Kingpin, as long as he isn't too old for the role. He looks perfect, exactly like kingpin from the TAS animated series.

Interesting. It could be casting news.

Man, I really hope they don't screw this up. The director's cut of the '03 version was fine, but still, I want this one to be 100 times better than that. Many things can be improved.

I agree. I hope Fox, damn them, take this movie more seriously and understand that Daredevil could be an awesome franchise if done right.

So David Slade's big Daredevil news is that either his deal is now officially closed or that Kyle Killen delivered his draft.

Oh, he also says Josh Hartnett will be playing Matt Murdock;)

When I think of Hartnett, I see Michael Lark's version of Matt Murdock. Might just be me...

I always thought Hartnett would be good for DD

Brace for the fan rage that it's not Michael C Hall if true

I would Gladly Accept Hartnett as Murdoch....hell I was ready for him to be loki back during the Casting of Thor

Bit of a hand at fan-casting the reboot.

Matt Murdock/Daredevil - Chris Pine

Pine would be awesome as Barry Allen or Matt Murdock, and we have more of a chance of a Daredevil flick coming out before a Flash film, so there we go.

images

Elektra - Olivia Wilde

Can't really think of anyone else for the role. She's a pretty good actress and would likely bulk up well for the role as well.

images

Foggy Nelson - Seth Rogen

He can likely add a little bit of comic relief to the film, but when given the chance he can act pretty well. Call me crazy but I enjoyed the Green Hornet, despite the original character being far more serious. At least Jack Black didn't play Hal Jordan.

Bullseye - Ryan Gosling

Similar to Ledger with the Joker and Fassbender as Magneto, I reckon Gosling would take a role and make it larger than life and kill it. Great actor and a potentially ruthless role for him to dig into.

Kingpin - Ray Winstone

If he can pull off the American accent, no one else would come close.

katee-sackhoff.jpg

Typhoid Mary - Katee Sackhoff

She's rumoured to be researching this role and would be a cool pick. Hot as hell when she's not in BSG.

Jack Murdock - Robert De Niro.

Raging Bull. Nuff said.

bruce_greenwood.jpg

Stick - Bruce Greenwood

I think Terence Stamp's a bit too old to do the role justice now, and whilst Greenwood was born to play Jonathan Kent, he'd own in this role. Show him through some flashbacks, Batman Begins style.

evan-rachel-wood-bisexual.jpg

Karen Page - Evan Rachel Wood

Can't think of anyone else to be honest. She's a bit younger than Pine, but if she can play off a centuries old vampire, this should be a snip.

Wouldn't overdo it on the villain front, and to be honest I wouldn't want a complete reboot. Do an origins montage, Spidey 2 style and then just crack on with the film to be honest. We know who Daredevil is, and if people don't, go watch the first one on DVD.

Oh and I'd get Affleck to direct and dump Slade.

Wait, can someone please fill me in on this Josh Hartnett business??

"this Josh Hartnett business" is more bull**** from Latinoreview "sources" (which are right less than 1% of the time).

Don't believe a word out of latinoreview.....David Slade tweeted that he's got news about DD this week, so I'd wait til you hear it from the horse's mouth.

In other news: What's with all the fan-casting for Kingpin, Bullseye and Elektra all the time, anyway? There *are* other great story arcs in DD besides Miller's Bullseye-Kills-Elektra opus. We don't need a reboot of the same ol' story, any more than we need the same ol' Donner storylines for Superman.

"Born Again," for instance, is a great storyline. And one that's already been rumored by MSJ to be the subject of the sequel script. We need to be thinking about fan-casting for Karen Page and Nuke --- and MSJ even mentioned that Mr. Fear and/or The Owl were prime contenders to show up in DD2. Hell, I'd like to see a cameo from ScarJo as Black Widow, but that ain't gonna happen unless the next Man Without Fear flick goes to Marvel Studios instead of Fox....

Holy **** Gosling as Bullseye would be ****ing AMAZING!

i agree no kingpin or electra or bullseye for the first movie! i would just have karen paige as the love interest and the owl as the villain -phillip seymour hoffman would rock in this part! also i would have the yellow uniform and transition to the red one and my title of the film will be simply "man without fear"with the dd emblem.
