Since this is a pg-13 movie they could do something like a kid falls in front of an oncoming car and spidey ignores it and another person gets him out in time...

Most Marvel heroes are required by contract to save a child in some fashion. That's one of the things that MUST be in all the big franchises. I don't remember a scene in the Hulk where this happens however he saves the Jet pilot and his girl in the car. I remember Ang talking about that restriction being one of the only ones for The Hulk but I don't remember that scene specifically. I guarantee you he'll save a kid in SM3 whether in red or black.

that could happen but if he is in the symbiote suit at that scene maybe befor he doesnt do it he has a flash back of uncle ben saying with great power comes great responsibilitey. then he will save the child.

I'd like to see Dark Spidey throwing a few kids off a rooftop, hopefully, one of those kids will be the bastard child from Superman Returns.

Oh, wait a minute, SM3 is PG-13 not R-rated, DAMN!

lol!!! lmao!

I am sure he will save kiddies in the red/blue suit. But if the symbiote suit makes him chunk a bomb at Harry and get an emo haircut...he better not save someone or hesitate while wearing the black suit.

I don't think Raimi would allow Spidey to ignore a kid in danger. He might skip a balloon chase, though.

I think he'll more likely save a young damsel from a mugging/purse snatching and then go postal on the crook (to the horror of the victim and on-lookers).

that be pretty cool, instead of him just knocking them out or webbing them up, he just beats the crap out of them and enjoys it too.

In "Spider-Man" our web-headed hero saved the boy from the falling globe-balloon/stage whatever at the World Unity Festival. And don't forget the kids in the final fight with the Green Goblin.

In the second flick Spider-Man rescued the girl in the burning house sequence., He also saved the two children from the fasting truck in the beginning.

Now we know that Raimi likes to repeat things, as there was a burning house in both films so far.

I'm sure that there will be a "saving a child" sequence in "Spider-Man 3". But do you think dark Spidey would save the child?? I mean, the symbiote turns him evil, and it could be a great way to show how evil he really is. Or do you think it would be too harsh for a Spidey-movie??
You forgot about how he saved a baby from a burning building in spiderman1

Spidey would go for saving a kid about to be hit by a bus, but the symbiote makes him divert his attention to some Hot women walking by him. And then...SPLAT!

I don't think that the symbiote, in and of itself, is evil. I'm a relative newbie to Spider-man canon, but I think it just brings out whatever evil is suppressed in the host's personality. It probably thinks that by doing so, it's maximizing the host's potential in general (and certainly his potential for generating adrenaline). From what I've read about the cop hosting the Toxin symbiote, he (the cop) isn't dark at all. Anyway, hope they go this route and don't give Peter a "the devil made me do it" cop-out/excuse. I like the idea of a Spidey with a dark side a la Batman.

Also, dark Spidey wouldn't let a kid die, nor would he beat MJ. I'd be ok with him giving a kid **** for being stupid, though, and dumping MJ for Gwen Stacey. *g*

nope dark spidey shouldnt save any children period.

Spidey dose save people even though his suite is black.
yeah we will see what happens he might save the child in the red and blue suit or in the black suit we will just have to wait and see.

What about in the comics...does anybody know of any instances when he neglects saving people while in the black suit???

Well he gradually gets more evil as time goes on, so he could save a kid using his enhanced dark spidey powers, then later on, he decides to do something else, which leades to someone dieing, like where he leaves uncle bens' "killer" to escape, leading to death, and that incident would remind him of uncle ben, and that's how he mentally beats the symbiote, and decides to get rid of him!

I don't know about dieing, but I'm guessing, someone is definitely going to get screwed by a questionable/irresponsible black Spidey decision--Eddie Brock.

from what i remeber of the comics featuring symbiote spidey - 616 comics, not ultimate - the suit didn't affect him that much. I t more or less played with his mind and definatley didn't make him BAD; he was still pretty much the same Spidey he had ever been - he didn't even have enhanced strength from it in the comics, that all came later when they rehashed it to incorperate venom into the Mavel Universe. :)

id like to see him save a person then leave them in a rediculous position, like on a roof or somthing. id get a laugh out of that.

maybe if spiderman saves the child in the black suit after hes done saving her he might say now scram. its possible .

It'd be kinda cool if Brock gets the suit and then in the process of trying out the new costume he saves a kid. The kid thinks he's been saved by Spidey, but isn't sure because of the symbiote costume. He asks, "Are you Spider-Man?"

Brock-Spidey's face forms a fanged mouth and answers with a snarl, "No."

The kid, of course, turns and runs like hell for momma.

it'd be cool if the influence of the suit stops him from pulling his punches....but I doubt if they'll go ott with it-it's got to stay true to the character, so there are limits *as much as I'd like to see spidey super-throw a pram...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* I doubt we'll get anything too dark.

The "strut"/dance will be pretty fun to watch though! mebbe he will save someone but do it in an overly flashy way, perhaps being too risky by taking his time showing off.

but if beating mj is the way theyre gonna go, I think that'll be enough to shock an audience and for them to "get it"

How come all the on set photos of spidy are all in the normal suit? Has anyone seen any on set shots of him in black? The only time I have seen the black costume is in the trailer and official poster...
