Eh...X-Men have a revolving roster. I was fine with Nightcrawler's absence not being explained. Plus, if you played the game based on the movie I think it explained his absence.

Nightcrawler wasn't raised from a child by the X-Men either, he's a carnie they picked up in Boston. Will was Caesar's parent and the most important person in his life well into adulthood. That's not even the same thing.

The movie looks really good and I can't wait to see it. It's not critical that they address what happened to Will, but considering how little time and effort they'd have to spend to do so I'd like them to, and I hope it's something better than "oh a rock fell on that guy last year"(stupid Final Destination 2)

The one thing I've heard about Jackson, as much as I admire him, is that he's not very good at making solid decision. So he may change his mind constantly which may explain so of the unpolished CGI. Dare I say he's a bit scatterbrained. That and it's a huge project.

nope. they changed it two times from comic con. in your second pic its sunset with dry fur. in the trailer its raining and the fur is wet

i like how they are throwing away money. i guess the last shot is not when John Connor is screaming for Caesar. they made the last shot raining and wet so that it fits with Connor scenes walking through the forest

yes . this is the reason. they had enough money and time for perfect cgi. but since they are changing every week it always looks unfinished. and its becoming a big trend in hollywood.
