Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Well both of you guys said you want to see Interstellar in theaters despite what the teaser showed, so there's an agreement there.

I liked Franco in the first movie. It's not essential that he be in this movie, but I would like for them to acknowledge his characters fate in some way, even if it's just one of two lines of dialogue, One of the most annoying things that some TV shows/films do is to have a character who's a huge part of one film/season, and the when the next one comes out, they're just gone and there's NO explanation whatsoever as to why. It drives me crazy, can you not be bothered to give us ONE line of dialogue telling us where this previously important character went, are you that lazy? A prime example of this is Nightcrawler's completely unexplained absence from X-Men 3 after being such a big part of X2. One of two lines, that's all that I'm asking for people.

I liked Interstellar teaser the best out of them all. Gave me goosebumps. :)

This one for Apes, is not far behind though. And Godzilla was good too, especially that Halo jump stuff.

That was a good teaser. I had forgotten Gary Oldman was going to be in this!

Eh...X-Men have a revolving roster. I was fine with Nightcrawler's absence not being explained. Plus, if you played the game based on the movie I think it explained his absence.

No, that's not good enough. You shouldn't have to seek out a different property to get details about the movie, that's just lazy. Most of the audience for the movies probably didn't play that game (I didn't) so for them, Nightcrawler is just gone for no reason. X-Men having a revolving roster is also no excuse for not giving us ANY explanation, especially considering his role in X2, it's lazy pure and simple.

I think what's worse is if the character is written out of a TV show, either via on-screen death or leaving, and their characters are not even mentioned once in the following season. BBC's Robin Hood was guilty of that. It's bad when one beloved character is written out (even worse when three are) and only one is mentioned in the following season. And the mentioned (deceased) character is the one that makes a cameo.

That kind of inconsistency bothers me.

Loved the teaser, like The Shape said, dripping with atmosphere, the final shot is really nicely done with the pull back reveal.

Pretty awesome and the cg work on Caesar is stunning

Trailer looks cool. bring on Caesar.

On a side note, i hope they tweak his voice for the sequel it sounded too human in the first flick.

"We've been through hell together. We spent four years — four years — fighting that virus, and then another four fighting each other. It was chaos. But you all know what we’re up against. And I want you to know it’s not just about power. It’s about giving us the hope to reclaim and rebuild the world we lost.”

Isn't that kind of the point though? Or are you saying it was too soon in his evolution to sound that similar to us?

 Can't wait to hear the apes (specifically Caesar) talk more in this one.

I loved the first film but I hope the human characters are better written this time.

I am absolutely LOVING these atmospheric teasers from Interstellar, Godzilla, and this film. THIS is the way to go with teasers, not those bulls*** trailers that just want to show snippets of the film's action setpiece. These trailers are far more thought-provoking.

Although it's just a teaser, I hope the trend continues with the next few trailers.

I liked the Interstellar teaser but I don't think that every teaser should show 90% stock footage. I couldn't care less about Godzilla as I was never a fan.

All three of these teasers do continue to show just how weak that X-Men teaser was though. Step it up Fox.

I was never a fan of Godzilla either, but the teaser was superb. Now my interest is peaked - which is what a teaser should be doing.

And I disagree, I think the X-Men teaser was great too. It had a very melancholic feel to it by using Hans Zimmer's Journey to the Line.

Looks great. I really like the look of the film. Like others have said, very atmospheric.

I loved the teaser trailer.

And especially because of the cast (Clarke, Oldman, Keri Russell, and of course, Serkis), this is the 2014's blockbuster that I want to see the most.
