May I say something about the casting choices? Don't judge a book by it's cover! anyone agree?

I wonder if Fox is happy with Wolverine being the lowest popular solo heroe of the lastest years.
Worth noting that the overseas market has grown ridiculously since X1 also. There Is also the 3-d factor but the Wolverine had to deal with a late july release date. And the fact It was hard to promate it like Origins was. Many franchise films released In 3-d have far more promation like merchandize than The wolverine had. It only had Hugh jackman to promate it. And it was still good enough to become second highest grossing film worldwide In series.

Do you mean popularity in comparison to IM3 and MoS? Because A lot of people thought Wolverine won the cbm fight last year![]()

The studios care about box office totals.

Under 600mil is a disappointment if a lot of money is spent on making a marketing a film of course. I'm still surprised at how realitively poor Into Darkness did. I think the marketing is in part to blame for the disappointing opening weekend. I'm doing a 20/20 hindsight evaluation of Into Darkness of course.Thank you. And they don't spend hundreds of millions on a production budget and then another 100 million on advertising to make a profit of a few million. Anything below 600 million is a disappointment or underperformance. Look Paramount and the last Star Trek movie's underperformance and how it could not get anywhere near $500 million despite good critical reviews, a $200 million budget, $100 in marketing and it is a brand know to the general audiences. I thought it would do much better than that at the box-office.
But what is that saying? If it does not make any money, then it does make any sense (cents) to them.

The main thing about Wolverine is Hugh Jackman. Try naming an actress that can do for Storm that Hugh Jackman does for Wolverine. Someone that brings in both the guys & girls. Everybody loves Hugh Jackman. You can't really. Hugh Jackman is literally in a league of his own with these movies
So depressed they're making another sequel...
