This alittle a fetched........but could the mutant at the very start of the film be, wait for it...............Franklin Richards????? Now i knew nothing about the character until my sister had told me hes one of the stronger mutants and i now know he is from new york, the same place where that scene played out....

He had that distintive face????! Is this Fox's way of slowly joining the two franchises together as he is the son of one of the Fantastic 4?? IDK!! Anyway by far my highlight of the year......

Would have been a wonderful touch if he had '4 1/2' on his t-shirt.

I'm starting to think Origins is an alternate story again.

In 1973, Logan was fighting in Vietnam along with Victor. They were regular G.I. Joes.

Days retconned that.

Plus, many told me the flashbacks were coming from X2, not Origins.

Jason Stryker being 14 years old and frozen in Origins doesn't match up with the older, 45 years old or more Jason Stryker from X2...

What do you think about it?

Fox only has rights to X-Men and FF.Fox has scheduled the FF sequel for July 2017 so july 2018 marvel film from Fox has to be X-Men related.

Also this could make me sound stupid but I am clinging on to the idea that if they were happy to announce all these films bar the 2018 one then it is perhaps because they are planning another OC film and therefore dont want to ruin the surprise of the ending of DOFP before saying it. After what goes down with DOFP I am just skeptical of another film with OC.Hugh jackman Is the exception to this.

My feeling Is 2018 film Is going to be one of following

X-force-Possibly with wolverine-set as followup to Apocalypse
Gambit-prequel to Gambit's appearance In Apocalypse or set after Apocalypse
Deadpool-who could be showing up In Apocalypse especilly since Singer said
he would like to use him In X-Men film
X-Men sequel with James Mcavoy,Jackman,Channing Tantum,and other newbees Introduced In Apocalypse

One little nod to the comics that I loved (it may have been purely coincidental), was how upset Mystique was when she saw Azazel was dead. When she was flipping through the files at Trask's place, she reacted the most when she stopped on his page. Nice little tribute to her baby daddy with Nightcrawler.

The bent bullet viral website article seemed to hint at Mystique/Azarel. It had been infeered
Mystique was JFK'S true assassin and she was upset that Azarel had been killed by agents

I just realized, they never really explained how Xvaier was alive in the future timeline did they? And I noticed the scene with Wolverine and Mystique was cut. The "You're one cold b*tch" line. I was kind of looking forward to an interaction between those two.

In X3, Prof X asks is it ethical to use the body of someone who is brain dead. Prox X's brother is in the hospital and is brain dead. Then in the X3 post credits the body wakes up and calls to Moira in Prof X's voice.

The problem is many people didn't wait for the post credit scene and were heading for the exits. Iron Man feels like the first post credit sequence (2008) but X3 predates it by 2 years.

So in answer to your question, THAT is how Prof X is alive although no one mentions the brother was an identical twin rather than just a brother.

That was a tough pill for me to swallow. I saw Angel and Azazel. I know Emma got owned but I didn't see a torture pic. I was saddened not to see Banshee in this film but considering how everyone was getting killed, well- lets just say things turned out for the better.

Oh, I know that's how he survived, I saw the sequence in theatres, but they had said things to the effect that they would reveal it in DOFP, and they never addressed it. It also doesn't explain why the future Professor still can't use his legs.

I don't really mind all that much, because the more they ignore X3 the better in my opinion, but I do remember them saying they would touch on it in earlier interviews.

And below him a multitude of people adoring him.

Although i was expecting his physical look similar to Thanos' i realized Singer is more into the realistic tone (and both representations work for me)

Even though he didn't have his physical features like blue high tech robotic suit, and not sure about the metallic tubes as he was wearing a tunic/hood.

He had blue skin right but i'm not sure if he had the distinctive face traits.

I saw a video with Kindberg (is that his name) that stated that the post credit scene is basically his back story in a microcosm, its the very early Century version of him shown but in the Apocalypse film he will be in his full state not this younger version nor will this actor be playing him, this was shown just to introduce him and his history.
