That's a fine way to look at it.Well, I've been buying Detective since 73, so it was just habit. The rest are the books I was already getting before the reboot.
To me, I'm looking at it like this: what I like will never come back, but I'm gonna read Morrison's Superman regardless. And I'll get some Hawkman stories out of it. And maybe even an Earth-2 JSA. So anything I like is a huge, huge plus. And now that the books that I've bought all my life (Action, Superman, Detective, Batman) all have broken runs just like every other title, I can quit anytime and not feel obligated.
I'm assuming she's DC's get-out-of-jail-free card if sales don't continue to stay up. She'll turn out to be the manifestation of universal order and reset the universe to the way it's supposed to be (i.e. a universe that might reel some of the longtime fans who quit with this relaunch back). Something like that.Any ideas on who the girl in the hood is?
So I bought both Legions this week and I must say, I'm on board. I'm a little disappointed that they made references to the Saturn Queen. Why must all my favorite DC heroes be branded villains after long heroic careers?
Anywho... at one point the Legionnaires mention something about the Flashpoint effect screwing up time. Just an Easter egg but worth mentioning.
Buy the Legion books.

...no offense...but why on earth...would a blue V instead of a red V convince you to buy a comic?
I never really cared for the "of America" in Justice League. It doesn't really make sense like in the Justice Society of America when you have a Martian police officer, the Princess of Themyscira, the King of Atlantis, the representative of Sector 2814 in an intergalactic police force. Unlike the Justice Society, "of America" really doesn't reflect the Justice League.4. JLA or I guess "JL" since tradition and America apparently sucks-very meh.
He kinda had no choice considering that all of his time spent in space has resulted in him being unable to meet his financial obligations.5. Green Lantern-heroes do not ask their GF's to sign on car loans for them. This book sucked ass.
Yeah. Cause it was pretty much what it was before. I liked that it seemed to have even more of a Mexican influence.
Although Paco was a bit too rough around the edges for me.
Saturn Queen was always a villain. She's the evil analogue of Saturn Girl. Like Cosmic King/Cosmic Boy and Lightning Lord/Lightning Lad
I assumed it was the same slightly aged Silver Age version Johns reintroduced in his Action Comics run. Is that not true?I admit LoSH has me lost.. but then I missed the reintroduction of whatever Legion version they'd brought back to life. It's the Pre-Crisis one right? I need to find back issues before I can fully enjoy them.
