I'm a broken record I know, but can someone please explain to me why they find King's Batman satisfying?
It's a DCU-wide event. Snyder and Capullo will tackle other characters including the JL. Hawkman and the Nth Metal are expected to be important elements of the event. So whats the deal with the DC event Metal? What do we know about it so far?

Metal is six issues and will start in August. There's also Dark Days (two issues in June and July) that will serve as a prologue to Metal.Any news on how many issues its going to be or when the events starting? I think I would wait for the tradeback, so any idea when thats coming out? sorry for all the questions![]()
It is really bothering me that I don't like Kng's Batman run thus far so I've been reading others reviews to Batman 20 to see what it might be that bothers me so much. And I think I've got it. I feel like King disregards and discards the bat family. Gotham Girl was supposed to be Gothams protector once Batman dies but it doesn't work out that way. But what about the family? King writes them as incompetent bumbling boobs. Or completely absentee.
As a big fan of the bat family, this really irritates me.
Revenge Squad is back!

King's recent Batman run has be somewhat of a self-contained story arc. To be honest with you, his run and the lack of Batfamily focus within it hasn't bothered me much at all because the Batfamily and its individual members have been given a huge focus in several other ongoing titles like Detective Comics, Nightwing, Batwoman, All Star Batman, etc, and they've been featured in brief crossovers in other titles (like Batman and Damien in this week's Superman).
It's not so much that King has been ignoring them in his Batman run or making them look like idiots, but rather, he was trying to tell a self-contained story that largely stemmed from Batman's interactions with Gotham and Gotham Girl, what they meant to him, what he hoped for them to be, etc.
I also didn't really mind that King's run has been a slow-moving and more introspective/personal Batman tale, partially because Batman himself is currently a focal point of nearly have a dozen other DC titles that are currently running, some of which have been pretty action-packed and plot-heavy.
Shea Fontana will fill in for July:DC better not replace Rucka with another Meredith Finch. Better keep that A talent on the title.
He and Cassie upped and disappeared.

I wonder if they will incorporate Conner's TK powers into son Jon, since young Jon is half human half Kryptonian as well.
Uh, that could be nice...or horrible, lets see.
Im a bit behind on Wonder Woman, is Ruckas current run good?
