DC to "Rebirth" in June - Part 1

I felt Superman, Action Comics, and Wonder Woman have been the best three books out of Rebirth. Superman & Action Comics do get to a point with their arcs where they start to drag near the end, to justify keeping them going on so long, but I didn't feel that was the case with Wonder Woman. I came out of each issue feeling like I read an essential part of that arc, not a filler to prolong the story.

So with Rebirth in full swing, is it worth it to try and get into Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman?

Superman and Action Comics...Absolutly.
Wonder Woman is good too imo.

But Batman? I dont know.
Kings run so far is a constant up and down, nothing really outstanding or spectacular to see there.
If anything, i would recomend Detective Comics or All-Star Batman.

I like him but its just so obvious that Snyder favors the characters he creates instead of the Batfamily.

But storywise it makes sense i think, considering that the rest of the batfamily is busy in their own storys.

Im interested in the look of Arthur, i really love the long haired and bearded look.
But how does this work in terms of the timeline.

And the last pages with the Joker...wow, really interesting.

I agree. I hate that he doesn't write Damian in the current Batman. He's ROBIN but Duke is getting all of the action

Yup! Starting the next arc. It's pretty wild.

Additionally, DC has revealed that several ongoing Rebirth titles will tie into the events of Metal this September. Teen Titans #12 (written by Benjamin Percy and drawn by Mirka Andolfo), Nightwing #29 (written by Tim Seeley and drawn by Paul Pelletier) and Suicide Squad #26 (written by Rob Williams and drawn by Stepjan Sejic) will all participate in a crossover called "Gotham Resistance," as these characters fight to defend Gotham from an army of villains driven mad by the influence of these seven evil Batmen.

Also a series of seven one-shots they have covers for in that gallery.

Yeah. I'm not sold on Dark Days so far (granted we haven't gotten too far but it's been a bit too confusing a set up). But broadening the story to include nightwing and from the looks of the pic above, Batgirl and Ollie and Dinah, I could really get into it.

Dark Days The Forge was a great prelude and kick off to this whole arc. Loved the ending reveal, can't wait to see where this all goes.

And don't take this a as a personal offense guys, but screw that "doesn't have a purpose" idea. Half the Batfamily and Green Lanterns don't "have a purpose," and the 90s were a great time for the Batman, Siperman, and Flash books. Give me Young Justice over Teen Titans any day.

I'd argue that the batfamily serves a huge purpose. The problem is that all too often they are poorly written. Look to Detective Comics for examples of how the batfamily can be awesome.

But yeah, I don't like Connor Kent.
