Untill fox offically hires director and sets release date I am on I will believe gambit is happening when I see it.

The new mutants Is almost certinly the march 2018 film.

June 2018 may be scatted to put deadpool 2 in november.

consider this.DIsney is releasing Avengers Infinity war in may and ant-man and wasp in july and may be releasing the han solo origin film in may.WB is almost certinly releasing the batman in july and may be releasing gotham city sirens In august.Meanwhile if star wars is in may with avengers no star wars or marvel films in november for fox to compete with.Aquaman is likely coming In October.

Now if gambit hires a director soon your prediction may happen

In that spirit, Reynolds has big plans 
for Deadpool’s next act, which will shoot 
in 2017 for a 2018 release. (The first 
movie’s director, Tim Miller, left the sequel 
over creative differences and will be replaced by David Leitch.) “The budget 
is not going to be phenomenally bigger,” Reynolds says, but then takes it back. “Who knows? Maybe the budget will be 
bigger — anything can happen.”

Like I've said a thousand times before... of course the budget for the sequel will be bigger.

Yea it doesn't mean they're gonna get 200 million. Even 80-100 million is a significant increase on the first budget but still small enough to allow more creative freedom.

Hope they give NTW a friend or something in the sequel. Take another lesser known character and expand on her (maybe not NTW-level of unknown, but maybe a character like Surge or Dust or Pixie or something)
