It is. And you can kinda see the visual style of the first John Wick coming through (the color palette is very similar). I wouldn't be surprised if DP Jonathan Sela has joined David Leitch once again on this.

I noticed that too and it makes me curious whether that visual look will apply to the film as a whole or if it's just for the tease, since the look is very different from the first film.

The Firefly poster does really hint at that and Shawn Madden mentioned that Fillon was one of the names that tested, so it could definitely be him. The only thing blocking that is that we're hearing of other names that tested literally the day that DP teaser got hooked onto Logan so...

Yeah, me too.

I actually loved the gritty and naturalistic style Tim Miller gave the first movie.

Especially 'fun comic book adaptations' are often very colorful and sometimes exaggerated in how stylized they are (not that I hate it, but I like variety), and instead he went against the grain, while at the same time delivering (with DP Ken Seng) a very cool and 'old school' look. I like how Deadpool and Colossus stand out in an otherwise quite realistic environment.

But every director should follow his own strenghts, and I think the teaser is a pretty good indication of David Leitch's sense of style, and what he will bring to the look of the sequel. And that's completely fine. Everyone's different, and should follow his own sensibilities. Deadpool 2 should totally be a David Leitch movie. I love John Wick's more stylized and surreal look, as well.

Ha nice tease, didnt get it at either viewing of Logan but glad its online now for all. Reynolds isnt afraid to make a fool of himself which is sort of the point of DP, but once he's in the suit you only see and hear DP, love it.
