Still can't believe this flick is happening, let alone half done shooting and Rated R! So awesome.

Loving the positivity around this film. Rare thing nowadays.

I can't wait for Ryan's redemption and I hope this movie is a great success so Emma Watts and co. can confidently push forward with expanding Fox's superhero properties.

The suit looks great, Ryan looks great in the suit, I hope he shows up to Comic-Con in character like Andrew Garfield did a few years back. The marketing for this film has been creative and positive and I hope it carries over and kickstarts the expansion of the X-universe.

Okay, so the day this movie comes out I want someone to use one of those MIB mind erasers on me to remove all the hype I have for Deadpool. It's just looking too good to be true at the moment.

Wow half way through! Can't believe it already! He is a hottie thou ;)

@RhettReese Anyone who said he looks like a Teletubby did it from the safe range of a distant keyboard.

Has there been any word on how they'll handle Wade's messed up face? CGI? Practical effects?

From the set photos it looks like old fashioned practical effects. I wouldn't have thought that his tumor face requires CGI.

There's a picture of his face? What page?

Is it just me or does it seem like they are moving very fast? One minute he was working out for the movie, next minute he is halfway through filming. Didn't they just announce this movie like the other day?

Well, after BvS, every production seems to be moving fast in comparison.

That could be, I was under the impression that movies like these that have a lot of special effect, costumes, etc. take a long time to film. Avengers has taken a while, and Captain America seemed to take a long time. This movie seemed like it didn't even have a script or anything and then one day it seemed like they just started, Reynolds was in and the costume was done and he is halfway done. It seems crazy fast. Not that it would be a bad thing, it just seems fast.

Remember, this movie was not given the budget of the other films people are mentioning. One place to save money is to have a shorter shooting timeframe. There are a LOT of people on a set to film a movie. So, if you can get it "in the can" in a shorter length of time, that cuts the amount you are paying the crew by a lot.

Then its off to the editors and VFX people. There could always be re-shoots as well if they need to

They've had a script since 2010 but it got updated not long ago.

It wouldn't take as much time as Avengers or Captain America to film anyway because it has less main characters and it's almost certainly going to be a cheaper film and so there will be less SFX/VFX involved in it.

It's less than a year from release so I'd hope they'd be getting a move on :oldrazz:

Edit: Connor_in said most of it
